    Come to Anime Central in Chicago, it seems like a pretty chill con. People were very respectful of each other cosplaying, the vendors were nice, and it was overall a very civil and fun event. Then again I only spent one day there, so I might've missed something. Other than that I haven't been to really any pop-cultural cons (ACen was my first and only). I've been to conventions for Microsoft Flight Simulator, and I've been to AirVenture (which is LIKE a convention...I'm actually going to BronyCon instead this year). So I guess on the topic of cons, YMMV. With that said, I am so fucking pumped for BronyCon. Gonna have a blast.

    Saw this earlier today, and I couldn't help but laugh. Someone managed to prank a news station with fake names. Is it a little racist? Yeah. Is it a little crude? That, too. Is it god-tier trolling on the part of an intern from the NTSB? Damn right it is.

    Nope. In fact, I think I would regret it if I DIDN'T become a brony. My life has been enriched so much by everyone I've met in the community. I wouldn't give that up for anything.

    I'm still in school. I'm currently in college. I'm going into sophomore year this coming fall. It's true that high school tends to suck, but generally people pull their heads out of their asses in college so your fellow students become a lot more tolerable.

    Distractions help. And if not distractions, find a legitimate excuse for accepting the cause of your anxiety. Not a bullshit excuse that you'll subconsciously see through, but whatever you're anxious about, find a way to bring a bit of closure to it, and accept that "It's not my fault and it's out of my control," and I find once that I accept that the issue is out of my control, and thus not my fault, I can think a little easier. Almost like a form of CBT I think.

    Australia. I'd definitely go to Australia. It seems like a really awesome and progressive place. Plus it has a lot of bush flying opportunities.
