    All of this Alicorn Immortality talk is giving me an idea for a Twilestia fanfic (not romantic). In it, Twilight is told she isn't immortal, and Celestia explains why through her own tails of heartbreak from her own immortality. Thoughts?

      Decent enough episode. Could be much worse given the premise. But allicorn Twilight doesn't really feel real, due to how rushed the episode was.

      Episode itself was enjoyable. Same goes with the songs.Hoping that season 4 can help make Alicorn Twilight not seem as questionable in regards to long term effects on the show.

      The fact that it was only one episode was made even worse by the fact that only half of it was actual dialogue and plot.

       

      My brain says it was bad.

      I myself found it quite good though.

    Everypony who is worried about this episode being "the end." Remember that McCarthy Tweeted that this is one part of a three part arc. If you're not happy, I'm sure you'll find closure at the start of Season 4. Just keep calm and pony on in the meantime!

      Being that I view this as a setup for something more, I'm not sure what to think at this point. They have a lot that they need to deliver next season, though.

      Yes that is agreed. Season 3 was a bit.... meh.... but i think it may have soemthing to do with Discord. My current hypothesis is that Celestia has foresaw a great disaster and thought that maaybe Twilight could stop it. And i believe this revolves around Discord, (or Luna) and Queen Chrysilis. (Hope i didnt mis-spell that) Thats just my opinion though lolz.

      Celestia has to return the ring to Mordor--so she had to have someone hold the throne for a while until things are finished. Meanwhile Sarumon (Luna) must try and manipulate Twilight until Celestia has returned.

       

      But--otherwise the season as a whole wasn't bad--just took a different turn than the previous.
