  1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terrafugia_Transition I would be the Terrafugia Transition. It fights me perfectly. I love flying. The only thing better than a car is a car that can get it's wheels off the ground. (I was gonna be crass at first and just name an airplane, but I thought I would find an actual flying car just to stick to the theme of the thread. )
  2. I'm starting to like Trap more than Dubstep. I just can't get into Middle Earth themes...at all. Lord of the Rings, Elder Scrolls, WoW, you name it. Anything that involves that general setting...I just don't find it interesting.
  3. Stratos finished unpacking his room and arranging what little he had brought. It was a simple place, but it would do. He was hoping that as he built up a life in Mustangia he would soon be able to afford lots of amenities to fill the unit. But for now, he had enough to start up. "I should go see what everypony is up to" he thought, as he trotted out of his room, to see what he could see.
  4. I may or may not sleep tonight. I exercised really late so I'm full of energy...and it's 5:48AM. Huh.
  5. I wonder if it's too late to make plans for Bronycon.

      When is Bronycon?

  6. Safari user, here. I used to use Firefox when I was on PCs, but when I transferred to a Macbook, I found that Firefox didn't load videos well, so I gave it up and went for Safari. Kinda curious about Chrome, though...
  7. I have a mix of both choleric and phlegmatic traits. I tend to be soft spoken, nonjudgemental, and an observer like the phlegmatic. However, I can be very driven when it comes to my own goals in life, like the choleric.
  8. I would, as long as I have the option to end my own life at some point. I'm really curious to see how the human race evolves over the next few thousand years (and beyond). I'd love to be around to see that.
  9. Yeah! *brohoof* Well, it's actually mostly old blemishes from the worst days of my teenage years. I've been finding ways to get my skin better though. I still get the occasional zit, but I've found ways to control them quite well.
  10. You look so much like the 11th Doctor it's not even funny. Anyway, here's my pic. Took it earlier today at the office. I'm a bit more cleaned up since my last picture.
  11. In my opinion the "former glory" is still there, just buried below a combination of things: the increase of the community size, as well as the drama. IMO the drama is actually rather isolated, and only the jimmies of a few are really rustled. The problem? Those with said rustled jimmies are really bucking loud. The fact that this drama is happening between seasons probably doesn't help. But like many have said, it will die down. Our community won't fail as long as there's dedicated people like those in this forum to see it through. As the saying goes, Keep Calm and Brony On.
  12. Saw this on Equestria Daily earlier today, thought it would fit in right here. That's a lot of Pinkie Pies. PINKIE PIE. PINKIE PIE. PINKIE PIE.
  13. The last thing I bought was a gym membership to Planet Fitness. Grabbed my stuff and went to work out immediately after. Awesome place.
  14. Yes, it's a b-movie, but when I was a little kid it was freaking awesome. We all have those bad movies we keep close to our heart...this is one of them. Gonna watch it again later today. Thanks for the link.
  15. I have the habit of keeping problems to myself. Usually I only seek help if those problems are that serious, or aforementioned small problems become bigger or more complicated.
  16. I had a roommate my freshman year of college. We had a lot in common and actually became really good friends. We're dorming together again next year (I'm in a single, but he's in my section). Most unis will survey you about your habits and likes to better pair you up with the right person.
  17. That was... That was... Bravo, sir, that was extremely elegant. A perfect analogy for the kind of soul our community has developed. We're more than just a bunch of people who love ponies, we're a family, bound by the emotional attachment to the magical world we all share. Bound by the lessons it shares, bound by love, bound by struggles, bound by courage, and bound by victory. Some come, some go, we evolve. Tempora mutantur, nos et mutamur in illis. Times change and we change with them. But our strong roots, our values, are what see us through, and as long as we have that, our legacy will live on for as long as there are bronies out there who wish to keep it alive. And there will always be bronies who will be there to keep it alive, and bronies who are willing to have enough faith to see through to the clear skies on the other side of the storm.
  18. Awww yeah! Good morning Ponyville!

  20. Stratos watched in perplextion as the stallion bolted away as fast as his hooves could carry him. "Now what the heck got him all riled up like that?" Stratos asked to himself. "There's plenty of time to get to know everypony once everyone is settled in, he continued, walking toward his awaiting room.
  21. Take a bow and pore a drink, friend, you've earned it. Now you get to the best part of the job, a chance to step back and admire your fine work alongside everypony else who calls this place home.
  22. Well, it's too early to tell, because I just started my first job today. I'm an engineer's assistant at my dad's engineering consulting office. Basically, to put it bluntly, when shit goes wrong in construction, it's our job to analyze the data, and make an expert analysis that can be used in court as evidence. We're investigators. I help sift through data on various projects and put a final analysis together. Part chemistry (because a lot of it revolves around problems with cement mixes), part engineering, part law. I'll also probably do part-time work in the office's laboratory when it comes up, preping samples of concrete to be put through all sorts of physical and chemical tests. So far it seems like a decent place to work. It's a small company, and everyone knows everyone, and it's a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I'll do my best. I'll try to take overtime jobs, too. I like this kind of work (I've shadowed my dad before at work), and lord knows I need the money.
