  1. I need math/physics help D: If a rock falls 0.75 m, how long will it take before it hits the ground if the acceleration is 9.82 m/s^2?

      Acceleration is distance/time^2. In gravity's case, 9.82 m/s^2 or 9.82m/1s^2.

Now if we were to drop Tom from 0.75m up, it would logically take less time for it to hit the ground. That time, we'll call t.

If we do 0.75/t, the result will be 9.82, therefore 9.82/1=0.75/t^2. The reason why I didn't say 1^2 is because that makes 1.

To find out what t^2 is, we have to isolate it. So we'll switch t^2 with 9.82. 1 we can remove since multiplying it or dividing it...
