      my first gameboy was a gameboy color ^-^ but I was very young back then and didn't really begin my "fanboyism" until I got my gameboy advance with pokémon ruby ^-^

      people tend to like the game they started playing first the most. Crystal was mine and it's not on my #1 spot, but HG/SS takes the cake because they're just like crystal but with more things to do, more pokémon and graphics that are more appealing to me. The biggest reason why I don't like the newer games is because I'm not a fan of the 3d-ish design.
