      it won't change anything. So now we have t^2=0.75/9.82. The result is 0.076.

      However, that's not the answer we're looking for. What we're looking for is t. We need to find the square root of both sides to make it equal. The left side is, of course, t. The right side would make it 0.28.

      Therefore, it'll take 0.28 seconds for Tom to reach the ground.
