The series of Riovantes Castle fights in Final Fantasy Tactics is notorious for softlocking people and effectively killing their save files if they come unprepared as you were given an option to save in between battles but aren't given an option to leave and return if you were underleveled. Just a nasty trap for new players. The Wiegraf/Velius fights were notorious for being the most difficult fight in the entire game if you came unprepared or had the wrong loadouts as the bosses and the enemies they summoned had massive targeting range and did massive damage. Then there was the fight on the roof that had you trying to protect a guest who's AI was a braindamaged moron who would often run into Assassins head on and die before you could even do anything(again if you came in unprepared.)
Protips:
- Buy Sprint Shoes solely for the final battle.
- Keep multiple save files
- Make sure everyone knows Auto-potions and you only have X-Potions
- Make sure Ramza has "Concentrate" to make the fight with Wiegraf more tolerable -

The Metal Gear “!”
Even So many videos that have nothing to do with video games, there’s a good chance you’ll hear this sound
my dad even knows this sound and he doesn’t even play video games, let alone Metal Gear

Metal Gear(MSX)>Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake>Metal Gear Solid
In the west though:Metal Gear(NES)>Snake’s Revenge(which was a different game entirely)>Metal Gear Solid
Snake’s Revenge was notorious for Kojima not being involved and just generally not very fun. Also embodies a lot of narrative tropes they tried to avoid in the MSX games. Ever since the Subsistance release we’ve had access to all the proper entries but beforehand it used to be ver confusing, with MGS offering a synopsis to Solid Snake rather than Snake’s Revenge

The Father-Son Kamehameha has always been one of my favorite moments as well as my favorite ending to a saga in the series but man, that ending line suddenly hits a lot harder

Goku going Super Saiyan was one of those genre defining moments you just had to experience. It's never left my mind when I first saw it and to this day it's one of my favorite moments in not just Dragon Ball, not just in anime, but in fictional media as a whole

This was just posted on the official Dragon Ball Twitter
https://x.com/DB_official_en/status/1765935471971213816?s=20
I'm having trouble processing this. Dragon Ball was a big part of my childhood growing and eventually became one of my favorite shows of all time. Not to mention it wound up having a huge influence on animation and manga as a whole being the inspiration for the likes of Naruto and One-Piece. Not to mention his artstyle being so unique and memorable. That's not even getting to some of the legendary video games he had a huge part in like Dragon Quest and Chrono Trigger
Rest In Peace in Other World, thanks for everything

Hold on, let me ask my Krystal body pillow
SpoilerThe answer is no. If you do, then you’re probably mentally all there and should get some therapy
SpoilerAlso, no I don’t have a body pillow of Krystal

The 3DS emulator Citra got taken down. It wasn’t great but it’s the best 3DS emulator we’ve gotten so far, and it’s still the best way to play MGS3D

Absolutely not. I'd rather not have Toy'R Us become "The Disney Store: Big Version"
2 hours ago, ZiggWheelsManning said:Warner Bros. should have bought Toys R Us. The fact that they didn't proves a missed opportunity to make Bugs Bunny a giant goliath
If WB bought them they'd probably become a Tax Write Off

Was never a fan of Chipotle, Taco Bell, Del Taco. When you have parents who make real Mexican food, it's hard to stomach this crap
I can tell this is an old post because I don't hold these opinions anymore. Nothing beats the real deal but I'll never say no to a Crunchwrap Supreme. I will stand by Chipotle being overrated though because they put way too much rice in their burritos
I need to try Olive Garden again at some point but last time I had it I didn't like it as much as I would have wanted. I don't even remember what I ate lol. Only thing I remember were the breadsticks, which I do happen to like
Chick Fil-a I will say, are good chicken sandwiches, but not enough to warrant the long lines they amass. Popeyes is also good, but there are better chicken places
Dunkin. I like donuts and they have decent donuts, but nothing that really sets them apart from grocery store donuts
Five Guys is delicious, but waaaaay too expensive. I see people trashing other bigger burger joints to butter up Five Guys, but for the price of one sandwich you can get a full meal at the other places, so you'll still see me going to Culvers and In-N-Out more often because of that
This last one is purely out of spite, but local pizza places. Yes they're amazing and better than the chains. But man, I still like Little Caesars, Domino's and Papa Johns, they're great when you don't have a bitch yelling at your ear that they suck

I think it'd be best just for them to self promote their own things unless they still like working with Netflix. Otherwise I could see Nick being a decent pick just going by how Transformers Earthspark has been shaping up
Just as long as they don't go back to WBD, less they want their own shows to become tax write offs and never get access tot hem again

I downloaded the demo but never got around to actually trying it yet. I'll still probably get the game eventually though since I usually like Vanillaware games(Odin Sphere, Muramasa, Dragon's Crown, to name a few)

2 chicken sandwiches. They do the job whenever I'm feeling cheap.
I miss when they had the McDouble in the dollar menu though

I keep forgetting that Dark Forces got an HD rerelease, need to get on that soon
speaking of which, anyone getting the Battlefront remasters? Those are easily some of my favorite Star Wars games

Probably Sonic3. I loved the first two movies and really it’s hard not to be excited for 3

Well I got to see both Gurren Lagann movies in theaters so I’m covered
At this point the most I really want is to re-experience Infinity War and Endgame in packed theaters again

I liked her fine, and I enjoyed her episode a lot, but I wished they did more with her. At worst I feel she was a pointless addition since they didn’t use her very much and dropped a very important plot point entirely about her after debut(her birth as an alicorn being an anomaly). Also at the same time her existence is the complete opposite to what all the complaints say she is(a creation of the writers rather than a corporate mandate, she barely got any toys despite everyone saying she only exists for that purpose)
SpoilerI probably would have actually watched The Last Problem if older McFlurry was there as one of the main characters of the episode as originally planned instead of Haber’s OC- 1

Baked potato soup is absolutely delicious, especially if it's got cheddar in it.
On that tangent you can't really go wrong with broccoli cheddar, or chicken noodle, or pozole

I wouldn't say there's any sort of global warming message there. In a lot of games in general, grass/leaf elements are usually weak to fire(just using Mega Man(Wood Man, Search Man, Spike Rosered, just using Mega Man as an example)

Who is the Most Valuable Pony (MVP) in the show?
in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
I mean, it's obviously Twilight, she's pretty much the main character. Show's marketing says Pinkie Pie, but otherwise I'm confident in saying Twilight
