    I feel like expectations for tomorrow's episode is gonna be so low that everyone will come back happy in the end

      I don't think it's a bad move. Just a way to see if while Spike is handling the challenge, Twilight can attempt some negotiations with the dragons since she's an Alicorn Princess.

      Same here, since you never know what might happen. Like in the premiere, I did not expect to see Celestia and Luna get their Crystal Pony forms after missing out on it three seasons ago. That was just beautiful to see them be rewarded for their efforts in protecting the Crystal Empire and restoring the Crystal Heart with getting Crystal Pony forms of their own, albeit temporary.

       

      With tomorrow's episode, I can't wait to see what happens!
