Season 9 feels very weirdly focused & has some odd episode ideas for a final season. 

"The Last Laugh" & "2, 4, 6, Great!" immediately spring to mind because

they both feel like lessons that Pinkie Pie & Rainbow Dash should've learned a LONG time ago.

Last Laugh felt like a quickly thrown together excuse to bring back Weird Al and it’s very telling that’s all they wanted considering they gave it to the show’s most boring writers 

246Great, just brought back awful feelings of Newbie Dash, especially since it’s supposed to be RD’s last fucking episode. All that episode did was make me completely convinced that the writers didn’t care about giving these characters a good send off, and not only do they hate RD, but the audience and people who like the character, so you know what? They can go fuck themselves with a rusty screwdriver

Dragon Dropped wasn't a particularly good ending for Rarity either since

they cranked up the drama to eleven & made her seem needy. 

I liked "Horse Shoe-In" the first time I watched it but I couldn't bear to watch it a second time.
