If you are running a PC, or laptop, try your computers interinal mic, or a headset. Or if you are on a console, use a capture card (BUT there overpriced)
Doesn't matter about that much, I have my headset which turned out to be far better for it then i had expected. And as for multiple people I already got a condenser mic and a preamp for my computer. But the only trouble I have now it that Fraps will only record the sound in Stereo so i am only getting voice audio on one side -_-

Well when I was younger I was almost trampled by a crowd of people at a parade ever since that has happened I can't even be surrounded by a few people just with the fear of it, it is sort of claustrophobia but it's only when confined by a group of people I am fine with tight spaces.
I'm also terrified of ceramic dolls, especially the ones with beedy little eyes or even worse...ones that are clowns. I'm not afraid of clowns but when I was very little, about 5 or 6, I had this doll of a crying clown on a swing that hangs from the ceiling. I swear that every night that thing started to turn around to look at me! An even scary time of something like this was when I stayed at a friends and his grandmother had a doll sat in a rocking chair. I woke up that night to see it moving back and forth. O_O I shat bricks -
That's an awesome song, it's good to find somepony else with a bit of musical taste
I just recently found this band probably about a week or two ago and I can honestly say that I cannot stop listening to them! :3 I couldn't believe that I had never heard of them especially since they are a local band. They have such a kick ass sound! xD
I literally say this every time that I mention them but...does anypony else really not think that the lead singer does sound a little like James Hetfield?

I need some ponies to play with, it's awfully lonely -_-
Steam: Hunter_XD96 - (The one with the Luna Pic)
PSN: Hunter_XD96
Have a minecraft server too :3
Pretty much happy to play anything as long as I am awake.

Anypony up for a bit of Irish Hardrock?! I for some reason seem to have an addiction to their songs all of a sudden but they are certified badass in my opinion. They do have some amazing heavy parts that just make my brain go crazy with delight!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FiE7i1ehl8
Go to 2:45 for some epicness!!
And while it's here...does anypony else not think that the singer here sounds a little like James Hetfield from Metallica? -
As my friend has said to me many times, if America needed a new National Anthem. It would absolutely have to be this! It took a while but I finally saw it's beauty. :')

Wow that's pretty sad :/ I feel for you man, if you need to some pony to talk to vent your feelings, then ask away. Just PM me or something!
I may not now what you are going through, but I have been told I'm a great listener.

I always just look at as when the next generation of gaming comes about, PC will always be able to adapt since they are fully customizable and you can get get a new graphics card to handle more powerful visuals, but when it comes to consoles, every time a new generation is out there you are going to have to pay for a whole new console leaving the previous one outdated and virtually worthless.
Besides in the future console gaming is going to become such a hindrance on people's wallet since they are going to start downloads only and keys that only allow you to use the game making them useless to trade in to get money. At least when you buy a PC game, they in most occasions relatively cheap thanks to Steam and such.
Only benefit of consoles that I can see is exclusive titles that you can't get on the PC.

How about some good old thrash...well not old to be exact. I actually had not of heard of them until quite recently about when their album Time Is Up came out in 2011.
I think they have a pretty solid sound. -
I'm almost 100% sure that everyone here probably despises this band, but I happen to like them, and I haven't seen them posted in here yet.
I don't see why you would think they are despised, I think they are pretty good, have a great sound and I have many of their albums but they are definitely not the top of my list.

Well there is no denying that that is Luna, for some reason it reminds a lot of me, being a teenager with 95% of my face covered by my marvelous mane, typical teen style nowadays.
Would love to see what this parody looks like when it's done

I actually can't believe that I forgot about these guys, they are not the most famous but Im pretty sure if you know them, it's because of the song "Beer!"
I have been listening to Pyschostick quite a lot and when you look past the pretty "meh" lyrics, I mean they are funny sure and clearly not the most professional band, but they have an amazing sound and in some cases I just think the sound to epic for their own good!
I mean if they did a serious song I'm pretty sure my mind would be blown.
This is the Official Video btw...

Not sure if you read one of my previous post, but did you know that the 5 areas in the Majora's Mask mirrors the 5 stages of grief and the order in which you go to each area is the same in the stages
Clock Town: Denial
No one in the town wants to admit that the moon is going to fall on them.
Swamp: Anger
The Deku Scrabes want to kill a monkey they blame their problems on
Snowhead: Bargening
The Gorans freezing and starving, hope that their dead hero will come back to save them
Ocean: Depression
The Zoras lost their dead guitarist and are in dispare.
Canyon: Acceptance
Almost very one in this region is dead. The dead call this land home. Their is no new identities to assume anymore.
This is what I was trying to get at, I actually did know this from reading it somewhere but it slipt my mind, but just by implementing that, this gives the story a such darker impression in my mind and something that will probably still traumatize me into my adult years xD

I still think that some day, maybe in the far future, that Nintendo will somehow ruin the games by making one that is more steampunk modern day based as opposed to the fantasy medieval style that nearly every Zelda game to date follows.
I don't know how I would feel about this but I would really like to see what that turns out as.
-
I have to say that Majora's Mask is probably my favourite game in the series, mainly because it took such a different turn on the storyline that we were so acustomed to. Basically pretty much all of them are to save someone, not that that's bad or anything.
But the best part of Majora's Mask is how dark and mysterious in the way it is presented, the story was dark and you always had that feeling of absolute demise hanging over you when you looked at that timer countig down the three days. Now I know that Majora's Mask isn't the only dark Zelda game but, Twilight Princess...what can I say...it was dark graphically and not so much on the story and feeling.
My order of the games would be
1.Majora's Mask
2.Wind Waker
3.Twilight Princess
4.Skyward Sword
5.Phantom Hourglass
All the rest can come in any order. I still love all of them.
I'm I the only how thinks that Ocarina of Time is a pretty overrated game in the series. At the time it was one of the best games of that generation, but when I look back and play it today, it just feels so monotonous and boring, the landscapes don't really make me want to explore and just get on with the story.
-
Still think that the best game was the one that actually did not involve Hyrule, Majora's Mask is definitely one of the best in the series!
Just such a different view on what happens in every other Zelda game. -
Some of the scariest games that I have ever played would be
1. Amnesia: The Dark Descent but only if it's played as it should which means turning of the lights, wearing headphones or connected to a big sound system with your graphics looking dark and edgy rather then the wimpy approach with gamma on high so you can see everything. Truly the real horror of that game is when it is put in the hands of the public for custom stories. (Some of you just had to put so many jumpscares -_- ) It just needs the right mood to be scary.
2. Minecraft - not that it's a horror game but it does manage to keep me on the edge of my seat with some of the scariest moments in gaming history. Corners and drops make you fear for your life incase you loose your inventory from lava death pit or creeper explosion (everyone panics when the see a creeper behind you don't lie) As well as that, at night, the whole atmosphere that minecraft creates is pretty eeriy and haunting as you feel so alone and yet watched at the same time.
3. Silent Hill 2 - One of the best psychological horror games I have ever played, but really Pyramid Head kind of makes that game one of my favourites.

Well the point of a film or media in general is more designed around entertaining the viewer and not always used to accurately portray what actually happened in the events in question.
This is why that a lot of films try to put small warps in history to keep it entertaining but at the sacrifice of some historical accuracy.
Since most movies often go by their own set of fictional characters that often don't have anything relevance to what actually happened during an event that plays out on the screen, directors have the freedom to put their own twist on how the events could have actually been carried out but still with the same result that we all know today.
But if the movie is more documentary based, constantly talking about dates and facts and not centred around the life of this character that never actually exsisted, then it is safe to safe that it is a pretty reliable source of secondary information.
A good example of a movie that is historically inaccurate would be "300" but yet it definitely provides in the entertainment department. Such inaccuracies as:
-Sparta was a city in Greece, not a country.
-In the battle of Thermopylae the Spartans were accompanied by other
Greeks with their forces numbering between 6,000-7,000, not 300.-The 300 "sire units" died rather instantly with no glorious blood bath, as the thousands of Greeks were no longer there to hold the line.
-They talked about the elements of "freedom" which were in fact absent in actual history, as Spartans were the biggest slave holders in that area.
And don't even get me started on the persian side of things.
So really don't always trust in what large, big budget, Hollywood movies tell you! As most likely it's not what your textbook will tell you. Stick to factual means of information like a textbook.
Hope that helped a little

So Metallica are pretty awesome but could anyone else agree with me on just how beautiful this song actually is? This was one of the worst albums ever by them but that's why it must be considered "Lou Reed feat. Metallica" but this song will always have a small spot in my heart...the rest of it was pure garbage ¬_¬
Come on you know "I am the table!"

Hellsing...I have to say this would be one of my favourite Anime opening's of all time, not really to do with the animation because I will admit the animation in the original is pretty...meh...compared to that of the Hellsing OVA's but they don't even have an Opening so this is how the classic is a little more superior. This choice is more to do with the choice of song, pretty catchy if I do say so myself That syncopated rhythm really takes me away.
This is the opening

Higher Quality Version of the song
Enjoy!

"If it were a Pentagram I would be fine with it..."
Rarity freezes realizing what she had said.
"I mean...what?! You heard nothing!" -
I wouldn't call this metal to be honest but more of a "post-rock" (apparently O_o!?)...they do really sometimes have a heavy sound, I really doubt that many people would know of them since they are from my local area and only recently have been touring but i have to say, they are pretty damnn good!
Always a good break to listen to instrumentals especially when they don't have anything but instrumentalsGreat song for when I feel an angry montage coming on.
ASIWYFA (And So I Watch You From Afar) - Clench Fist, Grit Teeth...GO!
Really gets good, in my opinion, around 4:30
As many have said "
onwards... I think you just finished music, lads."
And "cures cancer"- 1

What I have on my ipod in the metal department at the moment would be Five Finger Death Punch, Machine Head, Megadeth, Metallica, Pychostick, Soil, System of a Down just to name a few.
Also a band i follow quite closely would be Amon Amarth, i have to say if you have ever heard them live you would know what i mean, they pretty much put on one of the best shows that i have ever been to, their sound is just amazing! xDAmon Amarth - Varyags Of Miklagaard
My favourite song by them at the moment!
Especially at 1:38...that sound :')
