  1. Ten minutes ago I was doing Chemistry homework! I should get back to that... Congratulations!!
  2. Pet the Applejack! Applejack skyrocketed to one of my favorite ponies when I did a full rewatch of the series a couple years ago!
  3. Having been using Youtube for a long time, definitely the scourge of ads on there. Adblock is my best friend. I remember when they added one ad at the beginning. Then two. Then ads at the beginning and end. Now random 1-2 ads at multiple times throughout videos. Ugh lol I miss annotations :((
  4. I'm most of the way through The Master and Margarita! I cannot recommend this book enough. As simply as I can explain it, it's about the devil coming to Moscow and causing all sorts of antics! Very funny book yet poignant at the perfect moments.
  5. A salad with some grilled chicken and feta cheese! It was yummyyy but i had it several hours ago so now I'm starting to be hungry again lol
  6. Woohoo the power of determination! Would love to see this animated if you ever do so! I also was wondering, have you ever played Undertale? There's a huge theme of Determination and it's always capitalized in a similar manner in the game so I wondered if it was an inspiration at all for these lyrics! Either way, great stuff!
  7. My favorite livestream to listen to while doing homework! (Speaking of, I should get back to that )
  8. About that caption in the thumbnail? (Sorry in advance if this was a joke I didn't get lol, I'm totally about to overexplain cause I love this stuff) I think it's referencing the "line" that he uses to beat the series of trainers he has to battle. Basically, the way he's playing the game, if any of his pokemon faint, he can never use them again, and he can't use items in battle. If all six of his pokemon faint in one battle, he has to start the whole game over. It's also a really hard rom hack, meaning that the opposing trainers actually have good strategy and powerful pokemon, so it's easy to lose if you don't plan the battles out really thoroughly in advance. And at this particular point in the game, two (or three?) battles happen one right after the other, so he can't heal his pokemon in between battles, which makes it even more difficult. So, the strategy he comes up with to beat all the trainers with his one team of pokemon is called "the line." But it's also a pun, since "Holding the line" usually just means not failing or whatever, and he's at a really rough spot in Attempt 2 right now, so he's probably going to lose and have to restart soon XD I hope that wasn't too much of a word salad
  9. I last watched this video from PChal (Pokemon Challenges)! I love watching his Nuzlocke runs, as someone who plays Pokemon very casually it's always interesting to see how different rom hacks make the game really hard and how someone who's very good at playing tackles them.
  10. Oh cool, it's fun to see the different ways that different language teams tackle conveying a translation of information!
  11. the other parent couldn't possibly be... that Glass of Chocolate Milk from the Hearts and Hooves Day poll, could it?!?!?! Lololol sorry I couldn't resist
  12. McDouble or Spicy Chicken Sandwich depending on my tastes that day! And always a big Sprite
  13. Rip we didn't even get past zero this time 0, V8 fruit and veggie juice
  14. Yeah I'd probably say that I was a brony if someone asked! Either that or a 'fan of MLP' but the two terms are synonymous to me. I got into the fandom really early when everyone was still using that term a lot and saying stuff like "Brohoof! /)(\" So it's a nostalgic term for me, although I can see why some people would find it 'cringe' (although i do hate that term lol, feels like something middle school bullies say )
  15. This is why 'sailing the high seas' is so important! Shows that never got a physical distribution can just suddenly be removed from streaming platforms with no way to watch them anywhere else! Pony Life was a fun little show, I got a kick out of it! I'm sorry to hear it's so hard to get a hold of now
  16. Olden brony here myself although still active every now and again on the forums! After a couple years of not keeping up too closely with new seasons (right after season 5 as well I think lol), I watched a bunch of seasons right when they were wrapping up the show. I think the later seasons are really worth watching if you're still interested at all! They bring in some new characters that really breathe new life into the show, and there's some banger episodes all the way up through the end! Very last episode has my favorite song from the whole show in fact, and you know they had some great ones in the early seasons, so that's a big compliment lol! This video had me dying! I was NOT expecting it to be people voicing over lmao! "We need something that isn't complex, apartment or otherwise!"
  17. This is awesome!! Preservation efforts are so important, I'm so glad they found a gold mine of preserved content!!
  18. I think that's a good analysis! 10th grade wouldn't be unreasonable for Fluttershy to be working/volunteering at a shelter either. I honestly don't know the shorts very well, but I could see them having their whole friendship conflict in 9th grade and then becoming friends again by 10th. I will say that their level of school spirit corresponds only to my experience during junior and senior year of high school lol! I know I was not very interested in school pride or whatever until those last two years, so them uniting the whole school wearing all the pep gear makes more sense to me personally if they were juniors or seniors XD But I think they could totally be in 10th grade based on what you said!
  19. Oh yeah she does!! It would be cool if more of the Mane 6 had part-time jobs in EQG. Imagine an episode with Rarity having a fashion shop internship or something, that'd be fun!
  20. Hmmm maybe an alternate canon? Or the schools went through a very major reconfiguration of how the grades worked after Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy graduated Or maybe since they aged the Mane 6 down (assuming they correspond to adults in the main show), they also aged all the CMC-age group up to make them freshmen in high school. On that note, do we know what year of high school the Mane 6 and Sunset Shimmer are in in the show? Since they had already had conflicts in high school before Twilight showed up and helped them be friends again, it always felt to me like they were maybe juniors or seniors.
