I'm so sorry for your loss! I've lost someone before too so I will try to give you my best advice here. It's different for everyone. It's very likely that the grief will last forever, but the time between the moments it strikes hard will grow further apart as you keep moving forward. As far as making new friends, honestly as silly as it sounds, the lessons MLP teaches about friendship genuinely can help you keep yourself open to making and maintaining friendships. The pain of losing someone can make you want to close yourself off so that you can't get hurt like that again, but you have to try your best to stay open to making new friendships. Each relationship is its own treasure. In the meantime, don't beat yourself up over feeling this grief, it's best to feel it fully now so that you can begin to process it. I really hope you start to find some peace soon <3

I'm introducing my partner to MLP:FiM for the first time and we're nearing the end of season 1! I just asked him to guess what the finale of season 1 will be and he was like, the cutie mark crusaders are gonna get their cutiemarks?! LOL! I told him no but now he's excited for them to get their marks in season 2! little does he know how long the wait is gonna be haha!
