    Maybe her mane only deflates at the exceptionally sad moments, where even her own sanity is put to the test. So it could be that. The feeling and the amount of sorrow can cause Pinkie's mane to deflate, though in this episode it only deflates a little.

    The wizard in The Last Unicorn could be similar to Starswirl The Bearded, because of their relationship with the unicorn, similar to Celestia and Starswirl.

    It took me at least one year to become a brony, then find the courage to the forums after. I mostly interact with other bronies on social networks, DeviantArt, and other pony forums. I didn't really lurk before I joined, I joined to make friends.

    When I first started middle school, I had a deficiency of female friends but they didn't stop me to try and make some. Though, I did hang around with a lot of dudes in elementary school for some reason. So, you are not alone.
