Really hard to compare two juggernauts of the FPS era these days besides DOOM, so I'm going with Battlefield 1 for this because my soft spot for shooters taking place during the two World Wars intrigue me. Though, it is an alternate timeline to it.
Not really. Don't get me wrong when I say that I really did enjoy Twilight as a unicorn, becoming an alicorn added more development after being the main protagonist of the show for a while.
It really has been a long time since Season 3, I am sure in no way that anyone could possibly still hold a grudge against Twilight becoming an alicorn, three seasons later.
Like each individual of era, music transcended and was able to change over time with every new emergence of new talent. Some succeded and others vanished into obscurity, but the 70s, 80s, and 90s are still popular to this day.
Seeing the dynamic duo of Rarity and Pinkie Pie at work felt so good, those two working together in bringing an restaurant from the ground up for seeking three hooves approval makes sense, any restaurant owner wants to be recognized for their own creative style.
The first scenes after they receive their friendship mission did drag on for a bit. Saffron and her father cooking together like they used to really touched my heart. Had a good song and characterization, only downside for me is visiting the same restaurants during the beginning of the episode.
4/5
Not saying it couldn't work. But from my understanding, most live action movies based on cartoons have fallen flat on their face because the directors and writers use the source material and don't do much with it, trading it in for cheap jokes.
The episode had a good moral of how when in doubt of fearing that you'll fail, never stop trying until you get things done. Sure, Zephyr was a real pain to deal with that could make the episode hard to sit through.
The ending song was good, good seeing Fluttershy's family.
Most fans who do complain about an episode or two sometimes forget in explaining why they hate it, they feel like they are justified with complaining and mostly, ignoring other opinions on the matter.
Fallout 4's cinematric intro really captured the real feel of war and how much it can strain on soldiers, their families waiting day after day anxiously for their heroes to return. Also that war, war never changes.
