My parents are definately homophobic, but I think they're ok with me being a brony 'cause my brother is a schizo alcoholic crack head and I'm the "good one." so it's like, "at least he's not gay or a schizo alcoholic crack head. brony? yeah ok, we can deal with that" I think if you just contextualize it with your parents you'll be a-ok. it was no easy task, let me tell you. and my family is asian so they dont completely understand, but i think they're ok with it, but i dont think they're super excited or anything. I thought my mom was gona have a heart attack lol i told them right before we left for church, probably not tha best time
