  1. Yunno how each Tree of Harmony has SIX elements? Everyone thought there was only five, but then the sixth one, magic, gets summoned by the other five, right? Now that there are FIVE Trees of Harmony, we know there's five cause there's five trees. First the Equestria one (that's now a treehouse) and that's the fifth light in the end. The first one is the Zebra one that Zecora and her friends activated, and the other three will most likely be activated by Capper and his friends, the Captain bird and her friends, and I have NO idea who's gonna do the Diamond Dog one, cause Rarity and Mage Meadowbrook are already connected to the Equestria tree, and the only ones with them are Big Mac and Maud. So my theory is: could there be a hidden SIXTH tree that no one knows about? This series has always been big with the sixes, and the sixth element was hidden, so the sixth tree could be hidden too, right? It would seem too easy for just the five trees to come together to defeat the big baddie - that's the EXPECTED ending. A sixth tree would make sense cause the baddie wouldn't see it coming - that's why there's no light. Now who would be connected to that sixth tree, I wonder? Hmmmm. You already know who I want, but I don't wanna jinx it.
  2. I was so glad when Spike finally retired that assistant position for something that gives him alot more opportunities! However, as time went on and the comics released, it seems that people think "royal advisor" has multiple meanings - something that would definitely risk holding Spike back..... again. I took "royal advisor" meaning co-ruler of Equestria alongside Twilight. He literally said he's her right hoof, and when Luster Dawn thought Twilight ruled Equestria all on her own, Spike reminded her of his advisor role, basically saying he's the co-ruler. He's even got his own throne! Luna's position, know what I'm saying? Sure he doesn't have the magic to raise the moon or watch over the dream realm, but he's already got his own bigger responsibilities that involve keeping Equestria's alliances alive. When I saw the season 10 comics and some of the fan-made interpretations, yunno what I felt from him? Royal Advisor meaning Assistant Role 2.0 - same position, different name, and that got me so nervous thinking he didn't actually get a real promotion. That is, unless the comic writers are planning a story that talks about that, which would be great! It would certainly help improve his insecurity issue. So what do YOU think this position means? Co-ruler, or Assistant Role 2.0, or something else entirely? OR do you think it means Assistant Role 2.0 NOW, and then co-ruler later?
  3. I still wanna know why and how did Spike get connected with the Tree? He was part of the final climax in the finale, so there's gotta be some explanation for it.
  4. I could very much tell there are alota stuff about the show he questions - he and M.A. Larson both. They just don't say much because reasons.
  5. So the specials experiments started off on Equestria Girls, and the movies stopped so they became specials. Then FIM released Best Gift Ever, which was pretty decent. Then another team made Rainbow Roadtrip. After that, the specials just stopped coming. In all honesty, I thought the show was ending and the devs were gonna just make specials at first - but instead, the show ended, and.... that's it, no more specials. Unless you count Friendship is Forever. So why only two? Why start off this experiment so late only to not make anymore? I wasn't the biggest fan of Rainbow Roadtrip, but it looked like the start of something great! Regular FIM specials in those graphics made by a new team - they coulda just kept making them, but they didn't. Wouldn't you have liked to see more of those specials?
  6. I dunno - it feels like a regular episode made to be an hour long - it felt like it dragged on big time. I woulda saved the hour long stuff for something a bit more interesting than an alternative season 5 premiere episode.
  7. So I am still quite excited for what the rest of the season 10 comics hafta offer! But there's one thing that's making me a bit nervous about the comics that I hope doesn't happen, and that's everything happening at once. Not all simultaneously, but more like, months or even weeks next to eachother.Yunno the stories of Nightmare Moon, Discord, the Pillars, King Sombra, and Tirek and Scorpan's attack - they all happened at the SAME year - a thousand years ago. Was it approximate? I have no idea. But the show makes it seem like everything happened next to eachother - all the historical events, causing it to be an uneventful thousand years before the events of the series premiere. That is, unless there is some parts of history within the gap that's not being talked about. So we got our first Last Problem fate story already - the romance between Pinkie and Cheese coming up. It's expected that the comics are gonna cover some stuff like this, I'm just hoping it's not ALL gonna happen at once - from Yona taking over Carousel Boutique, to the CMCs becoming teachers, to Spike being the ambassador, to Rainbow Dash being Wonderbolt Captain. They all seem like great story potential, and I do want it all to happen - I'm just hoping there'd be more of a time-gap in the middle - and start seeing the ages of these characters change and become more visible.I would love to see how the story of the CMCs become teachers, but it would be best to show that, while they're at least in their teens. It wouldn't seem right for the CMCs to become teachers when they're still at school right now! Gallus becoming a guard seems like a good idea, but later, not while he's still attending at the school. Maybe there could be something that LEADS him to becoming a guard, like him wanting to become one. Just not the best idea to have him join the academy when he's still at the friendship school, yunno? So hopefully season 10 has multiple years within it that leads to the Last Problem. It kinda depends on how big season 10 is gonna be, or will there be a season 11 or 12? Regardless, I would think it's for the best for all these stories to be spread out, and NOT happen all at once. It would seem too coincidental, and would lead to many uneventful years as well.
  8. Not so much of having something else, but more of having friendship issues with his friends as an interesting story.
  9. Still feels like a story that should be touched upon. Even if it is true, why doesn't the series talk about it? I really don't feel content with his arc - and no matter how much I try, it just keeps coming back. Spike's insecurity and dependence + being part of the Element of Harmony climax at the finale + being considered a main character but the group is still called the 'Mane 6', really, something doesn't add up. His story is missing something very important that the staff didn't have time to make, and it needs to be talked about. If they don't, I'll do it myself, no problemo. I have a plan already.
  10. It's been over a year since FIM ended, and to this day, it's STILL haunting me, that I feel Spike is missing something in his arc. Something that was kinda-sorta started on Power Ponies, but wasn't really pushed upon - it's the question of what exactly makes him part of the Mane 6, and how and why he's so content in being shadowed by them, especially when he's with Twilight? Unlike years ago, I understand that he won't just change his life to being more than just being Twilight's aide, and IF he feels like he shoulda been an Element of Harmony and feeling like the seventh wheel in the group, he's not gonna say anything, BUT not without persuasion of course from someone he looks up to who could tell him all this, either someone who cares about him greatly OR a villain who uses Spike's insecurity against the Mane 6. There are LOTS of times on the show AND the comics that hints his insecurity of feeling unimportant, unloved, and left out - and what sucks is that it is treated more of a running gag instead of what could be a serious story. Certain times in both the show AND comics, there was a character saying "six of you", and Spike keeps saying "seven" to correct them - and there was also a picture of the Mane 6 in Dragon Quest in which Spike glued a picture of himself next to them. Not only that, but even though Twilight gave Spike an advisor role, there were many times that she's too stubborn to listen to him, and he never has the will to angrily snap at her about it, cause he's too nice and patient about it - but if he's keeping THAT in, then what else could he be keeping from her to spare her feelings? Remember in the episode Dungeons and Discords? He made a wizard that is treated with the upmost respect, and Discord said ironically, "Just like in real life?" Look, I can see that Spike is aware of his position in life - he's just content with it. I can tell that he wishes to be more, and he's afraid of what his friends would think of him if he just tells them how he feels - and this is treated as running gag instead of what could be Spike's BIGGEST story he's ever gotten! He compromises more for his friends than they do for him, and they have NO IDEA. So really, what I want from Spike in his arc in Season 10 is just for this to be touched upon. I had a very long time to think about this, and this feels VERY important to touch upon! He'd probably say and do stuff that would seem against his nature and OOC, maybe to the point of TEMPORARILY moving on. But their relationship WILL get patched in the end, stronger than ever before! It's just what Spike's arc needs! Season 10 comic spoilers:
  11. Yep, pretty much what I was thinkin'! He'd pretty much own the whole group, pulling the strings on the sidelines!
  12. Let's say the Mean 6 somehow return, and they create a Mean Spike clone to help them out! How do you think Mean Spike would be? I have my own perspective, but I'll let all of yous say yours first!
  13. Lauren still STARTED the show, and she paved the way for writers like AK Rogers and MA Larson and Mike Vogel to bring their ideas to life. Does she deserve praise for it? I'm not one for praising someone, but I do give her my heartfilled congratulations for creating this awesome show! So yeah, her credit is deserved!
  14. Some are slower than others, pal It's nothing to be ashamed of tho
  15. It didn't take me till season 8 to notice NightMARE Moon pun! XD It's not the pun that makes me laugh, it's more like, it took me this long to find it! But how bout chu? Didja notice it right away, did it take time, or didja just find out now?
  16. When it comes to Twilight and Spike, they both need eachother, right? Who needs who more, really? Does Spike need Twilight more, or does Twilight need Spike more? Or maybe they don't "need" eachother at all, and only say that cause they just don't wanna separate?
  17. So let's say the events of Avengers: Infinity War affects Equestria as well - who would you say got affected by the snap?
  18. If we're comparing a fictional character with a good heart, with a real-life monster, even as a joke, then I guess our conversation is done here
  19. How bout this then: What bout all the other times he saved Equestria? There's that one time in season 6 - his friendship with Thorax paved the way for Starlight to complete her mission in the finale, then there's the Movie when he and the Mane 5 saved Twilight which led to all 7 of them stopping the Storm King, and he was part of the final climax in the series finale as a mysterious element of harmony of some sort - so if he didn't deserve the statue then, he sure does now!
  20. An average joe woulda told the ponies off and he woulda left a long time ago - he's too good for that!
  21. Spike's no struggler? You're kiddin', right? Overworked with little credit, being outshined by his friends most of the time, neglected by his friends even, dealing with not knowing where he came from, dealt with a one-sided crush? He struggled MORE than the Mane 6 did!
  22. Oh yeah, and further developing his relationship with the Sparkles. They don't talk about his family with the Sparkles until episode 200 - and it took Cathy Weseluck to do it! Which is just sad. There were lotsa opportunities for that, especially in Once Upon a Zeppelin.
