  1. That awkward moment when you're walking along and it randomly starts pouring rain and you get stuck under a bridge until it stops.

  2. Completely false. Every human uses 100% of their brain. Otherwise, you'd be dead. However, the quantity of your brain that you think with (totally different ) not only varies between people, but also varies from time to time. For example, if you do something that you've done a bajillion and a half dozen times before, your brain doesn't need much power to do it. But if you're presented with a difficult situation/ challenge, your brain will need a lot more focused resources to deal with it. In the first scenario, you aren't thinking very hard, so not much of your brain goes to dealing with it. In the second, your brain has to work hard to think through it, and more of your brain is diverted to thinking as a result. However, there are certain parts of your brain that *can't* be used for thinking. Examples being the brain stem, medulla oblongata, and the hypothalamus. The reason for that is because they control breathing, heartbeat, hormones, and other things you'd kinda die without. So, these parts of the brain are pretty much dedicated to their task. ...Wow. I didn't think I had that much rant in me.
  3. I only have one day left at home. After tomorrow, I gotta go. :(

  4. Aaaand now I'm addicted to getting French Pokedex entries.

  5. Mag-freakin'-neto. Because last time I checked, commercial planes aren't made of wood.
  6. Battle for Bikini Bottom is far better than a Spongebob game should be.

  8. So I was watching the news today and apparently a research lab in Ames, Iowa has developed a prototype vaccine that's so far been 100% effective at preventing Ebola in primates. So there's that.
  9. In both games, pretty much just give me a gauss rifle/ Tesla cannon and everything dies before they even know what hit them. Except those Point Lookout swampmen. Those guys are terrible. I tend to get my karma up as high as I can and avoid combat whenever possible when dealing with named NPCs. Everything else, I only avoid combat if I know I can't handle it. Fire weapons (Flamer, Incinerator, Shishkebab) are my go-to weapons if I can't pick it off from a distance. I generally tag my Speech, Science, and (Small) Guns skills. From there, I pretty much just add points as I see fit, but that more often than not involves maxing out Energy Weapons. Gotta love the pew pews.
  10. "Stand a Chance" from The Big O is one of the greatest things I've ever heard.

  11. I've heard that Ant Man and Doctor Strange are getting their own movies in the near future. Can't remember where I heard it from, but it seemed credible. And a Deadpool movie's been in production for the longest time now. Not sure where/ if it's going, but it's at least a thing. And I agree wholeheartedly that Nova needs a movie. Or at least to be in one. Aside from that, I'd like to see a standalone movie for both Silver Surfer and Venom. But, since both their characters were done by movies outside of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I'm not sure how likely those would be. And this may just be me, but MODOK must be in a movie. For science!

  13. This is something I'd love to give a shot, but that's not the kind of mentality a mod should have. This is something that, ideally, you should prepare the long haul for. Besides, I have no idea how to work a computer, so I doubt I'd have the technical know-how to do it. Best of luck, applicants! (generic deity) knows you'll need it...
  14. This whole thing is being blown far out of proportion. The vector Ebola uses is bodily fluid, something that pretty much everyone in healthcare knows to avoid at all costs. And even at that, the skin is exceedingly good at insulating the body from pretty much everything. Unless the infected fluid comes into contact with a break in the skin or a mucus membrane (nasal cavity, mouth, etc.), chance of infection is minimal. Besides, this disease is bad enough that pretty much anyone who has it's gonna get quarantined. Basically, this disease is NOT easy to get. It also helps that some treatments are being developed. Not sure how far they've gotten/ will get, but it's something. Ultimately, this outbreak isn't something to worry about. The ladies and gentlemen in healthcare know what they're doing. Before long, it'll be under control and in the history books. And we'll have learned from it, which will make any future outbreaks easier to handle. No need to worry.
  15. Is it bad that seeing an alicorn Twily still makes my heart skip a beat?

Kinda, yeah. It's been well over a year and a half so...I don't know why anyone would still be freaked out by the concept.

It's... a lot more needlessly complex than just the concept. That much, I can assure you.

Also, a year and a half? Dang, that went by fast...

I can understand that. I guess I don't see it the same way since I loved it ever since it was leaked. Two different viewpoints.

  16. That awkward moment when you come up with a theory that makes sense with what you know, but you don't know enough to be sure if it's right.

  17. Gentlemen... There's a chance... THIS... will work!

  18. I'm not really a fan of animes in general, but there are a few that I've enjoyed. If you're looking for a laugh, there are two that immediately come to mind: Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo and Space Dandy. They can both be pretty ridiculous at times, but I find them both entertaining. If you're looking for something more serious, Cowboy Bebop and The Big O are my main contenders. They squeeze in a laugh occasionally, but they're mostly business (Big O especially). And then there's the always-fun Pokemon series. These are all ones I'd recommend. They're good for different reasons, but they all manage to be entertaining. I should also mention that The Big O is not just my favorite anime, but one of my favorite shows in general. If there's any one that I would wholeheartedly say "you need to see this", it's The Big O. I think all the episodes are on YouTube. Go watch it. Now. :okiedokielokie:
