      @a jewel of rarity: No, I responded because I was--and am--concerned about you. Alcohol *is* a common explanation for memory loss (blackouts). Its effects on human behavior can explain the injury. It may not be true, but it was worth throwing out there. Moreover, alcohol consumption isn't unheard of among underaged teens.
