Fluttershy carefully examined the interesting-looking machine, attempting to muster up the courage to actually place a hoof inside the mist of swirling energy that she assumed was a portal. "Ohh, I really shouldn't," she stammered. "I'm here for Angel, after all..." She hesitated, hoof inches away from the crackling energy field, when suddenly her tempo was shattered by voices from outside. "Oh! S-someone's outside! What'll I do, they'll think I'm a burglar!" She scrambled for the nearest hiding place, panicked into a frenzy, which turned out to be the table that the book had rested on. She dove underneath the wooden table and clapped her hooves to her ears, hudled in a ball beneath the furniture.

Fluttershy crept slowly up to the table and gently flipped open the book, but gave up after a few moments trying to decipher the cryptic handwriting. "Maybe Twilight would like to take a look at it," she said slowly to herself. "Oh, but it's not mine...stealing is wrong." Putting it gently back on the table, she decided to peek into the strange-looking metal contraption in the center of the room, examining the metal sheets that made up its four walls and wondering what on Equestria it was used for.

(Nah, it's unimportant now) Fluttershy peeked her head out from the dumpster, irritation flooding into her as she realized her mistake. "I-I guess I'm just too scared to even venture out into everyday life," she sighed regretfully, heaving herself up off of the cold stone floor and taking a quick glance at her surroundings. Well, to her it looked like she was in an alleyway of some sort, where a few lone buildings had entrances scattered among the brick walls. Pacing around for a few moments, she realized that the door to one of the buildings was ajar, and a soft glow emanated brightly from within. Curiosity getting the better of her, she approached the source of light apprehensively. "I'm sure nopony would mind if I took a small peek inside," she said quietly to herself, although her heart was hammering madly in her chest.

I prefer digital music to physical copies, if only for convenience. Plus, I'm not known for being careful, and losing digital music is much harder than misplacing a CD. :L
