  1. I've never seen this episode of the 90s Sailor Moon and I'm already laughing like an idiot at this scene I found on YouTube.

Minako's chipmunk laugh at the beginning is my everything.

The Viz dub is really good. It's on Hulu.

Too rich for my blood! I'll stick to subs when the next season comes, nyaha

Interesting fact about the 90's dub... At first, it was done exclusively by DiC, but later seasons were done by Cloverway with a new cast, minus the final season which never made it to America.

As far as I know, DiC didn't use any of the Japanese soundtrack. They made their own, but they did have sound-alike songs, mostly for the vocal themes like the OP theme. However, when Cloverfield took over, they kept more of the Japanese BGM and made more sound-alikes for the vocal music. (There's a few songs that have never been released on CD to this day!)

I can't be sure, but based on how the BGM stays the same in this comparison, it seems like this is when Cloverfield was in charge. VIZ is still the best, though. Too bad they couldn't imitate that creepy cackle though...
