      Yeah the theory behind it isn;t hard, eventually you should be able to do it in your head quickly. 

      Just requires practice, which I incidentally don;t do, so I do struggle sometimes.

      To be fair tho, it's incidentally not even that useful outside of maths. You don;t really use it in Physics or Chemistry or any other subject, so it;s not really something that's needed outside of tests.

      Why do they teach it, then? Shy not teach them, say, HOW TO DO TAXES (which they didn't teach me either)?
