  1. For some reason the fact that I'm turning 21 in two months hits me harder than the fact that I'm going to be going off to college and moving.

      No, not particularly.

      I just want to have one drink and call it a day.

      Drinking too much could mess with my meds, and could be a trigger for seizures (I have epilepsy)

      Making a fuss doesn't necessarily mean you have to drink, never mind drink to excess.

      but maybe an intimate party for a few friends, a small cake, then songs, video games, whatever it is you enjoy to celebrate.  If there is a likely conflict with meds, then perhaps adding a little wine to chilled fruit juice just as a token might both assert your right to consume alcohol and not require you to actually do so in any meaningful way? :)
