I am creating my own MLP Fan Site, with reduced focus on the show/episodes and brony chitchat and a higher focus on roleplay. Most areas are restricted - you need an application to be able to post there - so a certain quality of users is secured. Downside: The site is 2 weeks old... some may see that as advantage though.

What do you mean by an application?

It's like a character sheet, with basic things like coat/eye/mane color, species etc. and advanced information like motivation, history, etc. and based on what you wrote we can see if that character fits in our world or not. A certain writing style and certain amount of words is necessary to get approved.
