  1. @ Hearing Bubble's verdict caused the smile that had started growing on Pondah's face to instantly transform into a gleeful grin. 'YEAHHHH! Victory! Success! Finally!' Seeing Bubble leap forward into a cuddle, Pondah outstretched a pair of legs to return the favour. When she pulled back and vanished back into her room, Pondah slowly lowered his legs in disappointment. He waited patiently as water began to form a puddle around his hooves. When Bubble returned, he spoke again. "I don't know exactly when the event is happening." Pondah stated. "Do you want to come back to the office or should I come back later? You seem pretty busy with... whatever this is. Might I ask what you are doing? Does it relate to the secret invention from last time I was here?"
  2. @ Pondah perked up slightly when he heard Bubble's apology. A small smile began to form on his face. "That's why I'm here," Pondah replied, a little more relaxed knowing that Bubble wasn't still furious. "I came to apologise to you. I don't blame you for being mad at me. You had nothing but good intentions in mind and I kept pushing you away. If anything, getting snapped at was exactly what I needed." Pondah sighed before continuing. "I'm came for two reasons. One was to apologise. The other was to ask you something. Some people that dropped by the office today are doing a firework show and vocal performance. I figured you would enjoy and thought I'd... er... ask if.... umm... do you want to go with me?
  3. @@Aerodynas and Satisfied with the basic model of his invention, Pondah's mind began to wonder. He stared into the distance and zoned out as his thought ran wild. 'I hope nothing got broken in that storm. Otherwise, Sunny and Ember might not be able to do their show. Everypony will be scared of getting hurt. Still, I would like to go to that show...' Pondah sighed. 'And I know who else would. This may be the best chance of making things up. I have to take it.' Slowly, Pondah got up from his desk and went upstairs. He knocked on the door to the bathroom and pushed the door open. "Mr. Sky," Pondah whispered. "I've just thought of something and now may be the best chance I get to do it. I'm sorry that I'm wasting work time on personal things. I'll leave consequences to you and try to be back quickly." As silently as he entered, Pondah left the bathroom and out of the office. The air was still moist from the storm and puddles still littered the ground. Pondah galloped towards a building he'd commited to memory. Bubble's hotel. 'Just play it cool. She'll probably be mad but she has every reason to be. If ever you've needed luck, make it now.' In a small amount of time, Pondah was in the foyer of the hotel. He slowed down and crept up the stairs. Soon, he was at the door to Bubble's room. He waited a minute and took a lot of deep breaths. When he felt as calm as possible, he knocked. 'Here goes.' @
  4. @@Aerodynas and Pondah waited at the desk for a while and no one came. His attention start to wane, despite his attempts to keep himself focused on his work. Soon, Pondah was slumped in his chair, his imagination going beserk. "How could Mr. Sky get hurt like that?" Pondah said aloud, so deep in his own thoughts that he didn't realise he was talking. "He can do anything! I wish there was some way for anypony to make a cloud and turn it to run without having to fly around and get hurt..." Picking up the quill-pen and after gathering some extra sheets of parchment, Pondah began to doodle and brainstorm ideas. Rather quickly, a crude design had been drawn up for a canister that could create a cloud. "This seems simple enough, but getting the canister into the air will be difficult." Pondah mumbled. "I'll need to find a good method of propulsion and possibly a way of making the canisters more effective."
  5. @ and @Aerodynas As soon as he was given his orders, Pondah shot out of the bathroom and ran downstairs, completely forgetting what happened last time he didn't pay full attention. He took a seat behind one of the two smaller desks and pulled a quill and ink from one of the draws. He placed them on the table and watched with eager eyes as he waited for someone to turn up.
  6. @@Aerodynas and Pondah bolted into the bathroom and turned the taps on the bath. Water surged forth and splashed into bath, fillling the room with a mist. With the taps at full, the bath filled in a matter of moments. "I... Is there anything else that needs doing?" Pondah stammered, still trying to get over the shock of what had happened to Sky. "It feels wrong just standing around. I'm supposed to be working and that's what I must do."
  7. (Sorry for the late post. My mum is being an irritant with the internet.) Glacier was asleep in the corner of a cold, shadowy cell. The darkness veiled her and the dark blue of her coat rendered her near invisible. A sharp gust of bitter wind blew into her cell. Her eyes darted open. They zipped around, trying to gather as much information about her location as possible. The area outside of her cell was light but little was able to enter. She rose to her hooves, the unfamiliar surroundings giving her a small burst of energy. 'Where the hell am I? I know I'm in a cell, but why?'
  8. @ and @Aerodynas Pondah stared in awe as Sky entered the building in a blaze. He wanted to help but seeing his boss, his leader in a sub-normal state had glued his hooves to the ground. Helpless, Pondah watched as Sunny carried him up the stairs. Eventually, when Pondah had overcome the shock, he dashed upstairs. At the landing, he could see Sky was still on the back of Sunny. "Mr. Sky!" Pondah exclaimed, trying but failing to hide his shock. "What happened? Are you ok? Should I get help?"
  9. @, @MichaelRogers, @Aerodynas and Pondah left the even bigger group to get to know the new arrival. In the meantime, he had snuck upstairs and ran a sink of hot, soapy. Although they weren't particularly dirty, it just didn't seem right to leave these towels for Sky to clean up. It wasn't his fault that Pondah used them. As his hooves plunged into the water, Pondah winced. Once he had become accustomed to the heat, he began to rub the towel down. Trickles of filth washed away from the towels and in a few minutes, they were clean. With a fling, he hung the saturated towels on a railing above the bath and went back downstairs. 'I need something to do...'
  10. If there is space for another patient, I would like to join with Glacier Shard as a patient. I have RPed with her before in a similar RP. Her problem is that her years of living wild have turned into a feral beast. (Find her here at http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/glacier-shard-r2563)
  11. @@Aerodynas, and 'Just as I thought. Sky's dealing with this huge storm he's been forced into creating. Seems awfully big though. i wonder if he'll be ok? No, he's my boss. I have to believe he can do it.' "Ok, thanks Ember," Pondah said as he went back up the stairs to retrieve some towels. His earlier tumble had left hiim leery of the stairs and as a result, Pondah went up the stairs very slowly. When he eventually reached the summit, Pondah nipped into the bathroom and took the last two clean towels. He'd get around to laundry later. Just as gently as before, Pondah travelled down the stairs. In the main office, Pondah placed a towel on the floor in front of Rut-Light and offered the other too him.
  12. @ 'Perhaps he's a friend of Mr. Sky... I'll let him in. He seems ok.' "Ok," Pondah said quietly whilst stepping aside. "Would you like a towel to get dry? I can get one if you want." Pondah brought the white pony into the room and shut the door quickly behind him. It was warm in the office and keeping the door open would be a waste of heat. While waiting for the pony to respond to his question, another came to find. 'Where's Mr. Sky? I need him to show me what I have to do for my job. I imagine he's outside clearing the storm. I wonder why he didn't tell us where he was going. I'll see if this new pony knows anything. "Did you see an orange pegasus outside?" Pondah asked Rut Light "He's my boss and I really need to ask him something."
  13. @, @MichaelRogers and @Aerodynas A knock on the door snapped Pondah out of his self diagnostic. He looked to the others in the room and then began to move towards the door. He reckoned that, as they were busy talking, it was only fair that it would be fair if he got the door. Wrapping the duvet around him for protection, Pondah, began to slowly open the door. @ In front of Pondah was bright white Earth Pony wearing a shiny monacle. "H... hello," Pondah said quietly. "What do you need?"
  14. @@Aerodynas and With the assistance of Ember's magic, Pondah quickly unravelled the duvet ball and was free. He rose to his hooves gingerly and took a sharp breath through his teeth. "It's ok," Pondah announced. "I've had worse. So much worse." Pondah took a quick look at his legs. There were no new bruises and his legs seemed to be able to take his weight. @@MichaelRogers Whilst checking for injuries, Pondah saw another pony had entered the office. "Oh, hello," Pondah said. "I'm Pondah. You're Harry aren't you?"
  15. @@Skycoaster, @MichaelRogers, and @Aerodynas With the duvet still surrounding him, Pondah rose to his hooves and began walking towards the door. It was difficult seeing out from his cover but Pondah soon found himself on the landing of the stairs. He began to descend. 'I'm going to have to take this very slowly. One small step at a time. Stay concentrating...' Sluggishly, Pondah worked his way down the stairs. He was around halfway before he missed a step and he began to tilt forwards. After what seemed like an eon, Pondah began to roll down the stairs, still encased in the duvet. 'Ow ow ow! I'll feel that in the morning! Note to self: Don't use a duvet as armour.' The duvet ball thundered down the stairs and through the doors to the office. It skimmed a desk and came to a gentle stop in the middle of the office. "Ow..." Pondah groaned.
  16. I have a serious case of tonsilitis. It's so hard-core, I've been prescribed an equally hard-core anti-biotic (Clarithromycin 250mg) after penicillin did nothing to combat it. It all seemed fine, until I looked at the list of side-effects: Rashes Breathing difficulties and facial swelling Severe diarrhoea with blood and/or mucus Mouth, lip and skin ulcers Stomach problems (vomiting, pain, indigestion) Pins and needles Headache Joint pain Muscle pain or loss of muscle tissue Inflammation of the tounge or mouth Discolouration of the tounge or mouth Thrush (should be fine here) Changes in sense of taste and smell Tooth discolouration Dizziness Difficulty sleeping Ringing in the ears of hearing loss Liver problems (eg. hepatitis and jaundice) How lovely. Now for the possible mental side-effects! Anxiety Confusion Loss of bearings Hallucination Change in sense of reality Panicking BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE! TAKE CLARITHROMYCIN TODAY AND GET A SHOT AT THE RARE EFFECTS Fainting as a result of low blood sugar Kidney problems (eg.protein in urine or kidney faillure) Pancreas inflammation Convulsions Reduction of white blood cells in the body which increase chances of infection (like HIV) Reduction in blood platlet levels which increases the risk of brusing and bleeding (like haemophilia) Even better, there's two "super rare" side-effects: Inflammation of the eye Changes in heart rhythm
  17. @@Aerodynas 'Pal? How are we friends? All I've done is waste her time drying me and moving desks. That's not friendship. That's slavery.' Pondah furrowed his brow as he tried to understand what, if anything, was friendly about slavery. He picked up the towel he was sat on and hung it over the bath to dry. A while behind Sunny, Pondah made his way out of the bathroom and moved into his room that he was borrowing. Swiftly, Pondah trotted to the bed, wrapped the duvet around him and snuggled into it. The comfort of a warm wrapping caused a small smile to spawn on his face. 'Duvets are awesome! After accidentally trying the one in Bubble's hotel room, I couldn't wait to try one without consequences.'
  18. @@Aerodynas Pondah's eyes were transfixed on a single point on the wall opposite him. It was all he could do to prevent himself from completely losing his bottle as his mane was dried. Even as Sunny moved away after finishing, Pondah's gaze remained fixed for a brief moment. 'See? It wasn't that bad. Making progress already.' Slowly, Pondah ran a hoof through his mane. The bone dry strands slipped over his hoof and shined in the light of the sun. "Thank you..." Pondah whispered.
  19. Pondah took a sharp breath in when Sunny touched his mane. He let out a few short and ragged breaths before composing himself enough to respond. "I'm here on a sort of holiday," he whispered. "I just sort of picked a direction and kept going straight." Small dribbles of nervous sweat began to make their way down Pondah's face as Sunny's deft hooves worked their way through his mane. 'Try and stay strong. It'll be ok. She isn't trying to hurt me...'

  21. @@Aerodynas "It's ok," Pondah replied. "I just want it dried. I don't care about styling it." Pondah hopped out of the bath and set out a towel in front of Sunny. He sat on it and turned his back away from her. Slowly, he unraveled his mane-scarf until it was all dangling behind him. "Just be careful," Pondah whispered. "I really don't like having ponies touch my mane..."
  22. @@Aerodynas Pondah shrugged before repyling. "I could use a little assistance with my mane," Pondah said. "A long thing like this can take a while to wring out and with this weather, there's no chance of drying it in the sun. If you're really desperate to help, I'll be in the bath upstairs." Slowly, Pondah moved towards the stairs to the apartments. He was sluggish and gentle in his movements so as to stop any water dribbling into the carpet. He'd done enough cleaning today. Once at the top of the stairs, Pondah kept going straight and found himself at the door to the bathroom. He pushed it and went in. Staying slow, Pondah entered the bath and began to unwravel his mane.
  23. The rain was still pounding heavily as Pondah made the arduous trek to his destination. He made use of any protection from the rain he could find as he searched. After a while, Pondah found himself next to a sandwich shop. He swiftly entered the store and began to search for a price list. 'Well that's handy. All sandwiches cost two bits each. So two sandwiches at two bits each... I owe four bits already! Hooray for crippling debts!' As quickly as he came, Pondah left the sandwich shop and returned to the office. It didn't take as long to return as Pondah had retained some memory of the route to and from the office. With a rapid movement, Pondah was through the door with his completely saturated mane wrapped around his neck. @, @Aerodynas, and @MichaelRogers
