Tendrils of sunlight began to appear over the horizon as a new day was heralded. The warmth on Pondah's body woke him up. Groggily, he rubbed his eyes and rose to his hooves. He looked around. Something was different and Pondah started to panic. 'This isn't where I went to sleep yesterday! I'm back at the forest on the edge of the city! I must've been sleep walking. Let's hope I didn't do anything else in my sleep...' Pondah was slightly calmed by his explanation and he began to walk into Baltimare. 'Let's see what happens today.'

@ @ I wouldn't particularly mind if Pondah and Bubble together (even for a short time). It'll be fun to play with. We just have to hope that agrees. That will be hard considering that Cinderscribe has gone on a venture to a faraway land.

I don't suppose we can get another person involved and have a threesome.

Pondah took a while to finish eating his cabbage ends as being threatened with mace caused him to lose his appetite. When he did eventually finish his food, he left the bin alley and moved onto the next order of buisness. 'It's getting late. I'm going to need somewhere to sleep. I liked my spot from yesterday so I reckon I should return there. Now that he had a mild cognitive map of the area, Pondah was able to return to the hotel with relative ease. He went back round the side of the hotel to his grassy verge and began to get settled. 'Let's hope that tomorrow is even better than today.'

What's the procedure for when you're locked inside a bin? I have no clue what you need to do.

After a while of wondering down the streets of Baltimare, Pondah finally came to a building of worth. He took more steps towards so he could read the sign. 'A cinema, eh? Must be some good eats round here somewhere. Would've thought that sandwich would last for so short a time?' Pondah went around the side of the cinema towards the bins in search of his dinner. Pushing open the lid of the cleanest looking bin, Pondah raised himself into his hind legs and began to search. 'Hm... not particularly great pickings here. Nothing interesting or special. Just plain old burnt kernels, empty soda bottles, a piece of taco shell. Eww... fermented pears. How hideous. Let's check the next bin... Pondah shuffled along to the next bin. It was almost identical to the first, except for some patches of grime and a catch-lock system. 'This is slightly less promising. Everything's near the bottom. If I reach in further, I should be able to reach that cabbage end. Almost there... Further... Deeper... AHH! Pondah tumbled into the bin and the lid shut behind, creating a noise that he found unwelcome. "CLICK!" 'Great, I'm stuck in a freaking bin. A perfect end to a perfect day.

Dog Ears' remark cause Glacier to laugh uncontrollably. When she finally regained her composure, she said, "I don't know if your eyes are mutated as well but I'm almost positive that I'm as much a pony as anypony else. But staying slightly more on-topic, I don't mind walking around Paris for a bit. Should give me time to scout the terrain."

As soon as Pondah took a tentative sip, Bubble had left him alone. His once happy face had in an instant become a more sullen one. He slowly worked his way through the hot drink, stopping only when the heat became unbearable. Once he had finished, he got up, exited the café and began to wonder down the streets. 'I'm all alone again. Just like old times...' Pondah continued moping down the streets of Baltimare and, like usual, had no clue where he was going. 'I wonder where I'll end up this time...'

@ "Umm... I've never had any of them before." Pondah replied. "I'll let you pick what I have, seeing as I have no clue what to get and you have the money." ​Pondah took a seat at the table Bubble pointed out earlier. The amount of ponies in the café caused Pondah to become slightly uncomfortable when left alone and he shrank down slightly in his seat, trying to avoid sight of the public.

Glacier nodded slightly as Dog Ears finished recounting his anecdote. "A quarter of a porcupines quills... not bad." ​Glacier said. "What did you do in response? How did you exact your revenge? Did you kill it, torture it, eat it or something else? The thought of eating porcupine caused Glacier to lick her lips.

@ Pondah quickened his pace as Bubble held the door open. Upon reaching the door, he took it from Bubble and closed it behind him. Several other ponies were already in the café, shivering with cups of various hot drinks in there hands. It was clear that cold weather was good for buisness in this particular establishment. "So... what do we do now?" ​Pondah asked.

We're such teases! We will not bend to your ideals!

@ Pondah's eyes scanned the buildings around for a suitable place to stay and wait for the cold to pass. Various shady looking shops (and the occasional gentlecolts club) went through his gaze. "Hey, look over there," ​Pondah said whilst pointing with a hoof. "It's the café from earlier where we are those sandwiches. Would you like to wait in there?"

@ Pondah scratched the back of his head with embarrassment. "Oh... yeah." ​Pondah said. "Sorry about the bed fiasco yesterday. Sounds like we managed to make your life a misery yesterday. I apologise on behalf of all of us. Except any of the drunk ones. They deserve the bad stuff they get when drunk." A sharp gust of wind blew across the pair, its breeze biting into Pondah, causing him to shiver.

@ As Bubble finished speaking, Pondah became mildly concerned. "If you don't mind me asking, what happened last night?" Pondah asked. 'Why am I feeling so protective of Bubble? Is this what happens during friendship?' Whilst waiting for a reply Pondah began to think of places they both knew that the could go to when it was late. 'Places we've definitely both been to... Music Mare, the hotel and the café. We certainly won't be going to that wretched club again. I guess it's a choice between hotel and café.'

@ It's boring for the users that never post. I think some people signed up, posted once and then left.

In the meantime, Pondah and Bubble are able to talk about feelings without fighting, snogging or rutting. I think we win.

@ You should never get a musician you're in a relationship with angry. First there will be completely senseless violins and then, to make everything seem ok, truly horrid make-up sax.
