  1. @@Gloomfury It wasn't in Glacier's best intrest to make an enemy of the first pony she met. "Hello," she said. "I haven't currently got a reason to smile so it's pointless and deceitful that I smile at all. Oh and I'm Glacier." Walking with Shamrock obstructing her view soon grew to be quite the irritant. Glacier tried stopping and making sudden changes in direction to try and throw Shamrock off and leave her behind. However, in the tight streets of Fillydelphia, there was little space for evasive manoeuvres.
  2. @@Gloomfury "Great. There's goes any chance of this being an interesting place," Glacier thought as a green earth pony began conversation with her. After giving a sarcastic grin that revealed her teeth, Glacier replied, "There. Is that cute enough for you?" She had no time for talking about subjects as dull as how ponies look and she wasn't shallow enough to particularly care. Still bogged down by the fact she was in what she thought was a boring city, Glacier continued walking into town, not giving any polite conversation with Shamrock.
  3. OOC: http://mlpforums.com/topic/83481-free-time-in-fillydelphia-an-sol-rp-no-spaces-remaining/ The sun stood high in the sky on a warm day in Fillydelphia. The streets were empty save a few ponies who weren't working or at school. It was a very average day... but for how long? Glacier trotted into Fillydelphia with a blank face. There was nothing and no one that could give her the challenge, thrills and rush that she spent her time after. "That pony must've been lying" Glacier thought. "Why would recommend this place? It's rubbish!"

  8. @ Closing his eyes, Pondah took a few deep breaths, completely oblivious to Bubble's gaze. "It's ok," Pondah replied, slowly opening the door. "I'm sure I'm just being stupid and worrying over nothing." Pondah entered the room to an eerie silence. No one was in the downstairs area so, Pondah concluded, everyone must be upstairs. He rubbed his hooves on a mat to try and dry them and then held the door for Bubble. "Is anypony still here?" Pondah asked loudly. "I'm sorry that I'm not working."
  9. @ and Pondah turned his head to the source of a greeting. It took a few moments but he was eventually able to place the pony as the one who turned up at the office for a short period. "Hello," Pondah replied quietly as Rut-Light moved away. The office was in sight and the ground was still littered with puddles. Lifting his mane so that it didn't get wet, Pondah traversed the puddles and stood by the door. He gulped and prepared himself for what may happen next. 'Please Mr. Sky isn't angry that I left...'

  12. @ "N.. no," Pondah said quietly, the smile fading from his face after seeing Bubble's worry. "I.. it's not that. You've nudged me before and I'm getting morre used to physical contact. I just felt really strange for a moment. You haven't done anything wrong." Pondah's head drooped. "Sorry if I made you worry." The pair left the lobby of the hotel and started heading towards the office. The streets were bare and dotted with puddles. It was evident that the storm made the residents of Baltimare too worried to come out. Pondah and Bubble's steps were accompanied by a variety of splashes and ripples.
  13. @ Pondah giggled at Bubble's reaction to his plan. "Moving isn't that much of a big decision," he explained. "It's not like I have any major preparation to do. Once I get some money together, I can move my few posessions over here." Pondah smiled and continued, "Anyway, it should be easy. Mr. Sky offered me a room so as long as I can earn a bit a month, accomodation is easy." The smile stayed on Pondah's face as the pair walked down the corridor and into the lobby of the hotel. As they exited the hotel, Pondah was bumped sideways by a nudge from Bubble. A confused look crossed his face as his cheeks flared red. 'W.. what was that? That nudge felt warm... and nice. This is strange.'
  14. @ Pondah ran ahead slightly to catch up with the over-eager Bubble. He nodded slightly as he listened to her. "It's normal to want to prove ponies wrong," Pondah said, trying to console Bubble. "I think ponies will think you can't do anything serious because you're a joyful soul. Ponies like you are expected to be useless at anything serious." Pondah turned his head towards Bubble and smirked before continuing. "The thing is, the erratic ones are the most likely to think of things nopony else will. The zany ones are used to defying convention." Pondah breathed a long overdue sigh of relief. 'Who would of thought it? I've been back for a few minutes and Bubble has attempted murder! Sometimes, things are good.' Stumbling on a lump in the carpet, Pondah's head snapped forwards again. "Yeah," Pondah agreed. "I've been overdue some luck. Thing is, the more I think about it, the more I realise something. I've only met you and Sky because I took a chance on coming to Baltimare. I only got a job because I took a chance on Baltimare. I've started smiling because I took a chance on coming to Baltimare. I've made my mind. I'm moving here."

  16. @ Bubble's sketchy explanation of intent shocked Pondah for a good reason. "Were you making a weather machine?" Pondah assumed. "I drew up some hasty plans for a simple one before I came here! Perhaps we could help each other." Pondah's eagerness and excitement that someone else was working with a similar invention cause him to speak quicker and quicker. The mention of work brought him back down to Earth. "Work's great!" Pondah exclaimed. "It feels really good knowing that I'm helping. I may only be doing small things in large scheme and the rest of Equestria may never know or care about what I do; I don't care. At least I know I'm helping. That's all that matters. Shall we go?"
  17. @ Hearing Bubble's verdict caused the smile that had started growing on Pondah's face to instantly transform into a gleeful grin. 'YEAHHHH! Victory! Success! Finally!' Seeing Bubble leap forward into a cuddle, Pondah outstretched a pair of legs to return the favour. When she pulled back and vanished back into her room, Pondah slowly lowered his legs in disappointment. He waited patiently as water began to form a puddle around his hooves. When Bubble returned, he spoke again. "I don't know exactly when the event is happening." Pondah stated. "Do you want to come back to the office or should I come back later? You seem pretty busy with... whatever this is. Might I ask what you are doing? Does it relate to the secret invention from last time I was here?"
  18. @ Pondah perked up slightly when he heard Bubble's apology. A small smile began to form on his face. "That's why I'm here," Pondah replied, a little more relaxed knowing that Bubble wasn't still furious. "I came to apologise to you. I don't blame you for being mad at me. You had nothing but good intentions in mind and I kept pushing you away. If anything, getting snapped at was exactly what I needed." Pondah sighed before continuing. "I'm came for two reasons. One was to apologise. The other was to ask you something. Some people that dropped by the office today are doing a firework show and vocal performance. I figured you would enjoy and thought I'd... er... ask if.... umm... do you want to go with me?
  19. @@Aerodynas and Satisfied with the basic model of his invention, Pondah's mind began to wonder. He stared into the distance and zoned out as his thought ran wild. 'I hope nothing got broken in that storm. Otherwise, Sunny and Ember might not be able to do their show. Everypony will be scared of getting hurt. Still, I would like to go to that show...' Pondah sighed. 'And I know who else would. This may be the best chance of making things up. I have to take it.' Slowly, Pondah got up from his desk and went upstairs. He knocked on the door to the bathroom and pushed the door open. "Mr. Sky," Pondah whispered. "I've just thought of something and now may be the best chance I get to do it. I'm sorry that I'm wasting work time on personal things. I'll leave consequences to you and try to be back quickly." As silently as he entered, Pondah left the bathroom and out of the office. The air was still moist from the storm and puddles still littered the ground. Pondah galloped towards a building he'd commited to memory. Bubble's hotel. 'Just play it cool. She'll probably be mad but she has every reason to be. If ever you've needed luck, make it now.' In a small amount of time, Pondah was in the foyer of the hotel. He slowed down and crept up the stairs. Soon, he was at the door to Bubble's room. He waited a minute and took a lot of deep breaths. When he felt as calm as possible, he knocked. 'Here goes.' @
  20. @@Aerodynas and Pondah waited at the desk for a while and no one came. His attention start to wane, despite his attempts to keep himself focused on his work. Soon, Pondah was slumped in his chair, his imagination going beserk. "How could Mr. Sky get hurt like that?" Pondah said aloud, so deep in his own thoughts that he didn't realise he was talking. "He can do anything! I wish there was some way for anypony to make a cloud and turn it to run without having to fly around and get hurt..." Picking up the quill-pen and after gathering some extra sheets of parchment, Pondah began to doodle and brainstorm ideas. Rather quickly, a crude design had been drawn up for a canister that could create a cloud. "This seems simple enough, but getting the canister into the air will be difficult." Pondah mumbled. "I'll need to find a good method of propulsion and possibly a way of making the canisters more effective."
  21. @ and @Aerodynas As soon as he was given his orders, Pondah shot out of the bathroom and ran downstairs, completely forgetting what happened last time he didn't pay full attention. He took a seat behind one of the two smaller desks and pulled a quill and ink from one of the draws. He placed them on the table and watched with eager eyes as he waited for someone to turn up.
  22. @@Aerodynas and Pondah bolted into the bathroom and turned the taps on the bath. Water surged forth and splashed into bath, fillling the room with a mist. With the taps at full, the bath filled in a matter of moments. "I... Is there anything else that needs doing?" Pondah stammered, still trying to get over the shock of what had happened to Sky. "It feels wrong just standing around. I'm supposed to be working and that's what I must do."
  23. (Sorry for the late post. My mum is being an irritant with the internet.) Glacier was asleep in the corner of a cold, shadowy cell. The darkness veiled her and the dark blue of her coat rendered her near invisible. A sharp gust of bitter wind blew into her cell. Her eyes darted open. They zipped around, trying to gather as much information about her location as possible. The area outside of her cell was light but little was able to enter. She rose to her hooves, the unfamiliar surroundings giving her a small burst of energy. 'Where the hell am I? I know I'm in a cell, but why?'
  24. @ and @Aerodynas Pondah stared in awe as Sky entered the building in a blaze. He wanted to help but seeing his boss, his leader in a sub-normal state had glued his hooves to the ground. Helpless, Pondah watched as Sunny carried him up the stairs. Eventually, when Pondah had overcome the shock, he dashed upstairs. At the landing, he could see Sky was still on the back of Sunny. "Mr. Sky!" Pondah exclaimed, trying but failing to hide his shock. "What happened? Are you ok? Should I get help?"
  25. @, @MichaelRogers, @Aerodynas and Pondah left the even bigger group to get to know the new arrival. In the meantime, he had snuck upstairs and ran a sink of hot, soapy. Although they weren't particularly dirty, it just didn't seem right to leave these towels for Sky to clean up. It wasn't his fault that Pondah used them. As his hooves plunged into the water, Pondah winced. Once he had become accustomed to the heat, he began to rub the towel down. Trickles of filth washed away from the towels and in a few minutes, they were clean. With a fling, he hung the saturated towels on a railing above the bath and went back downstairs. 'I need something to do...'
