Yea..... Well.

I always think about Smallville and Stargate SG-1, both having issues with their first episode, or should I say pilot episode? Sometimes you have a first episode which is actually the second episode, and the pilot which is not the same quality or having the wrong actors.

Fot Stargate SG-1, the actual real plot of the entire series requires a complete rule break of how the stargates work (you cannot go through the stargate backwards, but the bad guys just do that in order to show the main bad guy).

For Smallville, the first episode is bad because it references the pilot, which was not aired. So some info is missing. (At least what I remember)
