     This is something I should've posted months ago, but here's some praise for The Owl House... (spoiler alert!)

    I admire Luz for being up front with Amity about what happened to her father in the episode "Reaching Out." :(

    Disney has come a long way because nearly 20 years earlier during Brother Bear, a similar scene happened but with the dialogue being completely drowned out by an '80s washout singing some sad song.  :Cozy:

    Also, I'm really glad The Owl House didn't make Belos Luz's father. I probably would've rage-quitted the show if that happened. Is anyone else of that trope as much as I am? :eww:
