      I do think that Fairly Odd Parents is overrated, though it had its moments. Danny Phantom was surprisingly great with its long-term storytelling and world building.

      So is Loona though in her own right, and seeing her situation at the adoption center(foster care) really eludes to me with her violent tendencies and anger issues that Loona was quite likely a victim of physical abuse, if not worse, and Vivzie, may show us some more glimpses of Loona as a pup and that's what I'm hoping for most of all... maybe shit will get really intense 

      These two as friends are incredible, though on Facebook groups the shippers are already taking flight, The end of this episode really is something so many children should see that are caught between their parents drama, like needing context and patience bc a lot of us don't know what our dads really go through for us, in such an adult themed show it does more than give hindsight to adults that grew up with this crappy family dynamic but advice to those currently dealing with it

      Eh, S1 is probably the only season that’s consistent enough that I’m willing to marathon the whole thing. Only other season to do that is S3(though likely due to its short length). The other seasons have those real sore spots that make me want to skip chunks

      While I still think the show ending was sad, and I enjoyed season 9 for the most part (I didn't really like "2, 4, 6, Greaaat"* either), I'm glad in a way that I got to see the finale when my interest in the show was still high. :rarity:

      * I was quite disappointed one of my favorite writers on the show made that one... :mellow:

      Depends on the context of the real world thing mentioned. Historical events? That's fine. Pop culture events and celebrities. That dates it more, though even that can be a case by case basis(again, if they're referencing something timeless it's more forgivable)

      For cartoon characters, they can always break out into songs. Even if they have no previous known talent.

       

      For your OC, Mark, imagine the credits being like this:

Elton John		-	Mark (singing voice)

      Very expensive, but it is very possible to have two different talents as one character :squee:
