Am I the only one who doesn't give a fuck about the big four, but then again I don't even like Thrash, so there, anyways have some more Grindcore

Someone in the metal thread with a normal status achieved? WHAT KIND OF BLASPHEMY IS THIS? I haven't even watched the anime adaptation yet, I only started reading the manga not too long ago Anyways Been jamming along to more Grindcore recently
  6. I've been meaning to listen to that album for a while now, I don't know why I keep putting it off Anyways Amon Tobin seems to be quite the favorite of mine recently
  7. Now you be the mother, And I'll be your fool, I'll hide myself deep inside, Your crimson pool. The muddy water runs, Beneath your folds, You won't let me breathe, You won't let me go. Now you be the stranger, And I'll be the white-skinned son, You'll blacken my innocence, With sugar and opium...The children were suffocating, Down in your damp cave, And you were the mother, And I was the sleeping slave. Protect me from violence, Hold me in your cool lips, You drug me with kindness, So I can pretend I exist. Now you be the oly child, I'll suck on your breast, You'll feed me with gasoline, I'll burn my name in your head.
  8. I dig Suicidal Tendencies 7/10 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2rkRgsGBo8I
  9. I'm not usually the one for OSTs but that song was better 7/10 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgwrxcO48N8
  10. Since we've got the wrong Lifelover album up on that list, I'll be nominating Erotik, which is my personal favorite album by them
  11. I listened to quite a bit of Allesandro Cortini's (SONOIO) solo works today, I actually prefer his solo stuff over Trent Reznor's work in How To Destroy Angels. SONOIO's great even for people who aren't fans of NIN Also his live stuff is pretty interesting too
  12. That guy who ranges between a straight dude to a horny bisexual who flirts with his classmates
  13. Bringing my thread back to life with an awesome Grindcore album that I re-listened to a little while ago, gotta love Dirge man
  14. Yeah I'll admit that I don't understand why it's called Mathcore, but I guess it sounds better than saying Progressivecore, as for a -core genre being based for Islam Hardcore makes me laugh as much as the name Christian Rock does.
  15. 5/10 it's alright Massive Attack - Group Four Converge - Axe To Fall Massive Attack - Black Milk Distance - Night Vision Boards of Canada - Smokes Quantity
  16. Yeah because a genre named "Metal Hardcore", "Grind Hardcore", or "Math Hardcore" definitely sounds nice, at least Metalcore, Grindcore and Mathcore have a better ring to them, and you know making one minor change definitely does change the sound surely Nintendocore is just 8-bit thrown into hardcore, but it still does sounds drastically different from Grindcore or Metalcore. And yeah you're right they're all just Hardcore because they're all different types of Hardcore, it's not like people consider them completely different genres from Hardcore itself, just think of Progressive Death, it's still a piece of Death Metal, but it's Progressive influences is what differentiates itself from other forms of Death Metal, so therefore it's not a different genre, but a different type of Death Metal. It goes the same way with Hardcore based genres. Mathcore has Progressive influences so that's what differentiates itself from other types of Hardcore, but it still is considered a part of the Hardcore genre.
  17. The -core part is meant to signify that it's hardcore based, like how "Black Metal" and "Death Metal" end in Metal to signify that they are Metal based genres, or like how "Progressive Rock" and "Post-Rock" have Rock in them to signify that they are Rock based genres.
  18. Mathcore is basically just Hardcore music with Progressive influences, and also I don't get what you're saying by this, is it that genres themselves are terrible or is it the names that are bad
