1. I voted "kinda active." Sometimes I go through periods where I only login here to check my messages, and don't do much else. Other times I get into more of a mood to post, and when I do, sometimes I end up posting a lot. 2. The section I post in the most frequently is General Discussion. I have made 127 posts there (including this post), and 1 topic. The section I post in the second most frequently is Media Discussion, with 47 posts, and 2 topics. The third is Show Discussion, with 44 posts, and 0 topics. 3. Page 21. 4. Going by the green line that includes both posts and topics: 10:00 pm, followed by 5:00 am, and then 8:00 pm. At the time that I wrote this post, I have been online on MLP Forums for a total of about 14 days, 18 hours, 11 minutes, and 12 seconds. Rounding that up to 15 days, and then dividing my post count 468 by it, I score 31.2 on the lurker test.

Morgan Freeman is awesome. However, I would prefer the man who narrates the Leviathan: Warships Jazzy Trailer to narrate my life.

Flood control is essential for a forum. Without it, anyone and their mother could come here and bot the forum into oblivion. It takes me way more than a minute to make a post anyway, unless I'm in Cloudsdale Colosseum. I don't even run into it a whole lot when using Cloudsdale Colosseum, and when I do, I'm fine with it, because I know how essential it is to the forum's security.

I disagree. I love our current emoticons. They are unique, and they have a certain charm to them.

You Just Got Kissed By The Person You Like, your reaction?
SCS replied to Sepia-chan's topic in Forum Lounge
Reviving this thread. It looks cool. If I got kissed by the person I liked in real life, my reaction could be outlined into stages as the following. Stage 1: Stage 2: Stage 3: But if I were to give a srs answer, I would blush, freak out, try to kiss her back, and be happy. -

I assume a true above and below One more and first of all I endeavor the deadly uniformity That erudition brought into this world I doubt wherever the earth's gravity That is boldly presumed to extend Over the whole structure of the world Effective beyond a certain radius Aeon, uniformity, divine This empty space extending on all sides Where the suns of the suns are subordinated I thought of a great manifold of different ones Where double stars moving alternately Round each other but not round a third one A whole that does not tolerate a middle As masses of light flow into each other If this universe increased to its extremity When the other side transists into a black hole A downward spiral of the corporeal masses our existence is complete in both directions I assume a separation of powers that be Of purely demonic divine chaos I endeavor the deadly uniformity That erudition brought into the world When we can pass over into the other A world, pure and silent through death This empty space extending on all sides A true above, a true below -
I have no idea. This isn't a well-known song, so I'll post all of the lyrics. If anyone is able to figure this out without using google their magic powers, I would give that person a cookie. A branch marrying some kind of alien robot? How about yes? -
The song you are listening to right now will play at your funeral
SCS replied to Discordian's topic in Forum Games
I'm currently listening to the song A Transcendental Serenade by Obscura, from their album Omnivium. While it is one of their light songs, it's not exactly what I'd call uplifting, and its lyrics are kind of awkward to play at a funeral: In deepest depths, at the dark side of a burning star. By the dully shining black sun - the dance of the dead. (That's seriously all the lyrics for that song, even though it's over 6 minutes long. They don't start singing at all until close to the end.) I'd rather a happy, uplifting song be played at my funeral. I would want people at my funeral to be happy, and to celebrate my life. Not to be sad and focus on my death. -

The square feet of pi? Pi is a one dimensional value, so the term "square" loses its meaning. Now, the question I'm about to ask is definitely possible to answer. Yeah. If I say that I always tell lies, am I telling the truth?

What do you think the best instrument(s) of a rock band is?
SCS replied to Moonlight's topic in Media Discussion
I don't listen to rock, but I do listen to metal. It's similar, just more extreme, so I'll talk about that. To me, there is no best instrument in a metal band. It's best when the instruments are in balance with one another, so they harmonize and create awesome sounds working together. One band that sticks out in my mind as doing a great job of this is Nightwish. They are a symphonic metal band, so they combine symphonic elements with metal elements. They are able to balance both together masterfully, resulting in fascinating compositions. Another band that does a great job of balancing their various elements is Obscura. They are a technical death metal band, so their music is highly complex. One of the things I find so impressive about the music that they make is not merely how complicated it is, but how they are able to weave complex melodies together using multiple instruments that result in excellent compositions. The musical quality is largely not lost in the complexity. In fact, they are able to utilize the complexity of their melodies to make the musical quality shine in a powerful and unique way. -
In terms of regular like? Almost everyone here. This forum is a swell bunch of fellows. In terms of romantic like? No one here. I'm not against liking someone on the internet, but it hasn't worked out for me in the past, so I'm hesitant to get into anything involving that again. Unless I just met someone who blew me away.

The song you're listening to right now will be your wedding song.

Ocean Gateways by Obscura. Fascinating song, yes, but it's not a song that I would say screams romance. -
I am currently listening to Ocean Gateways by Obscura, from their album Omnivium.

I am sad to say that, so far, the only MLP related dream that I have had, that I remember, was a nightmare. I plan to change this, by learning how to have lucid dreams. Once I got good enough at lucid dreaming, I can make my dreams be whatever I want them to be - at which point I could dream myself into a happy, loving, true Equestria. There are also many other things I plan to do with lucid dreaming other than visit Equestria, but visiting Equestria is definitely one of the things I will do. The dream I had about MLP was that I was in my room. It was dark. I saw a rarity toy sitting on a changing table I had when I was a baby that I now use for storage, as it has cabinets in it. The thing is, the toy looked evil. It looked similar to Rarity, except it had a gaping, evil looking smile. I also had the sensation that it was alive, and I felt an aura of just grossness and extreme evil hitting me like a tidal wave. When I looked up at my door to see if the Christian cross I keep up there (even though I'm not a Christian) was still there - it was gone. It was replaced by that same evil looking Rarity toy, stuck to the wall where the cross was supposed to be. I think I woke up at that point.

@@Crispy, @, @@Twiliscael Thanks for the suggestions guys, I'll check those bands out. Railrunner, I haven't listened to melodeath other than folk melodeath, but I'd want to give other kinds of melodeath a listen to see if I liked them too.

You aren't a bad person, you've just made some bad choices. I recommend getting out of using drugs and alcohol right now, before you ruin your life with them. That stuff can kill you. Please don't destroy yourself. If someone wants to argue and fight with you, just ignore them. Don't waste your time with them. Instead, find new, true friends who care about you, and love you for who you are as a person. About the girl, you should just tell her that you're not interested in her anymore, so that the situation will have closure.

music Poll: What is your favorite subgenre of metal?
SCS replied to Le Kvlt Dawn's topic in Media Discussion
I voted for power metal, melodic death metal, symphonic metal, gothic metal, folk metal, viking metal, and technical death metal. I like the fact that metal has different subgenres, because there really is a big difference between certain kinds of metal. The fact that there are different subgenres makes it easier for me to pinpoint more precisely what kinds of music I like, which makes it easier to find new bands to listen to, to understand what exactly it is I'm listening to, and to be able to better describe to other people what I like to listen to. -
There are very few musical genres that I would never listen to, but there are certain genres that I like far more than others: Melodic/Folk Death Metal Melodic/Heroic Death Metal Technical Death Metal Symphonic Metal Gothic/Symphonic Metal Extreme Power Metal Power Metal My favorite bands in each genre are the following: Melodic/Folk Death Metal: Eluveitie, Finntroll Melodic/Heroic Death Metal: Ensiferum Technical Death Metal: Obscura Symphonic Metal: Nightwish, Leaves' Eyes, Amberian Dawn Gothic/Symphonic Metal: Delain Extreme Power Metal: DragonForce Power Metal: Blind Guardian, Stratovarius In addition, I absolutely love My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic music, including songs, background music, and some fan songs and remixes. I love it more than metal, but I need variety in what I listen to.

Hi. I was wondering if anyone could give me suggestions for new bands I could try out, based on my musical preferences. The metal genres I like the most are melodic death metal (primarily melodic/folk death metal, such as Ensiferum, Finntroll, and Eluveitie), technical death metal (bands like Obscura), symphonic metal (bands like Nightwish, Delain, and Leaves' Eyes), and power metal (bands like DragonForce, Blind Guardian, and Stratovarius). So, based on that, what are some other bands I should try out? I don't want to listen to anything that's satanic (including people who think pretending to be satanic makes them cool), gory, or depressing. I don't like metal that involves that kind of content.
