I watch anime on very rare occasions. I don't have anything against it, it's just not something I ever really got into. It just doesn't fit my personality very well.

What was the name of first forum you ever joined?
SCS replied to Finesthour's topic in General Discussion
Black Hole HQ, a fan forum for one of my favorite video game series of all time, Advance Wars. I joined that forum in 2007, and I was pretty obnoxious back then. Looking at my posts and how completely naive I was is pretty funny. I got trolled so fucking hard there. -
My favorite is adventure. I don't mind if it has some sad or dark elements, but I avoid grimdark when it comes to MLP fictions. I get more than enough media that is extremely dark and violent elsewhere. When I watch/read something involving MLP I prefer to keep it happier and more constructive and beautiful.

I love aviation. I'm the most interested in anything involving space, but I also have a tremendous interest in military, commercial, and private aircraft.

I'd have to go with donuts, but both are absolutely delicious.

What do you automatically do before a fight?
SCS replied to Ninja Derpy's topic in General Discussion
My eyes narrow, my muscles tense up and I clutch my fists. I also get an adrenaline rush. -
They will fuck you up just like any other kind of drug will. I'm not going to judge you if you use it, just please be aware of the consequences and don't fucking do it in public around people who made the choice to avoid such things.

I pretty much only use capslock when I'm caps-spamming someone as a joke. I just use the shift key 99.9% of the time not including those instances.

I type the traditional way using all 10 fingers and have for years. I can currently get up to around 120 - 150 WPM with minimal errors.

I definitely believe in capital punishment, and we have every right to judge people who do horrible shit. People who rape anyone should be executed, they do not deserve life. People who kill anyone with malicious intent should be executed, because they don't deserve life either. And this system we have in which it takes 40 years to execute these losers is ridiculous. Just shoot them and get it over with instead of spending millions of taxpayer dollars on keeping their sorry, worthless asses alive. And then take that money and use it on things and people that are actually worthwhile, like education and law enforcement.

Cute, hands down. Children are absolutely precious and the number one priority in the world above everything else should be to protect children, and to raise them in supportive, loving, kind, intelligent, mature, responsible, and nurturing environments that promote positive growth. I don't give a fuck about your job, your wife, your money, your golf clubs, or anything. Take care of your children and make sure that's your first priority.

Tattoos/Body Mods! Thoughts, questions, comments, pictures...?
SCS replied to RheanbowDash's topic in General Discussion
I do not at all understand people who want to get body modifications. Just because you think it's cool and edgy now doesn't mean you'll necessarily think the same way 10, 20 years from now, yet the modification could potentially alter your body permanently. I feel the same way about people who get stupid and/or excessive tattoos, but I have more respect for minimal, intelligent tattoos. They can have genuine meaning and substance to them, such as people getting a tattoo representing a military unit they were in, and I have a lot of respect for that. But tattooing the devil screaming on your back or something just because you think it's cool is just dumb. -
The common/basic modern-day uniform used by the US Navy is pretty awesome.

I just sit in the chair. My life is fascinating. I did make out with a chair once, though. That was fun.

I hate waking up on Mondays. It sucks. Mondays in which I do not have to get up for whatever reason are indescribably beautiful.

I think spiders are beautiful and often even cute. I used to be terrified of them when I was a kid, but honestly after having things happen to me like the car crash I was in it's hard to be scared of shit like this anymore. When I know what it's like to not know whether or not every bone in my body was broken for a split second and to not know whether or not my dad was going to die, a lot of my old fears died and just seemed extremely petty and pointless in retrospect. Both my dad and I ended up being okay. No one else was in the car. But I've been a different person ever since. I'm just not scared like I used to be. Things in general don't affect me as easily as they used to. Almost nothing frightens, shocks, or disturbs me anymore.

A dark, rainy, stormy night with a cool but not overly cold temperature, because I find those to be absolutely beautiful.

Do you ever go into threads because a member you like was in it?
SCS replied to Evilshy's topic in General Discussion
Very rarely. I usually only post in a thread because I simply want to post in the thread. Every now and then I'll notice a particular person post in a thread that I'd be particularly interested in seeing their response to, but it's pretty rare. -
I love both. If either one of them were absent, or even slightly different from the way they are, life would either be nonexistent on this planet or it would certainly not be life as we understand it.

Eminem's album Relapse is fantastic. I certainly don't want him to go back to using drugs but there are so many songs on that album that are just crazy and hilarious. Life is crazy, and listening to these songs often helps me chill out. I don't care how "racist" the album may be, either. It's nothing I'm not used to, especially from artists like Eminem, and it shits all over political correctness. I hate political correctness.

My favorite fruits are cantaloupe, lemons, bananas, pears, peaches, plums, apricots, apples, strawberries, and grapes.

I love some kinds of tea but I'd have to say that I prefer coffee. Coffee has an absolutely glorious taste.

Yeah, I lift. I mainly use weight machines right now as opposed to free weights. I'm waiting on one of my cousins who said he'd help me learn proper form for free weights before using those. By "free weights" I'm not talking about dumbbells. Those are easy and I use them on a fairly regular basis. I'm able to lift at least 100 pounds on most machines involving my arms, and I'm able to lift at least 200 pounds on most machines involving my legs. I maxed out the leg press months ago. Right now my max is around 15 reps at 480 pounds. I'd go higher but that's as high as the machine in my high school's gym uses. Going to be signing up for a local gym or using the fitness center at college after I graduate high school in a few months and hopefully those will have leg press machines that go way higher. I don't know the name of this machine but I sit in a seat and push on two handles straight out, perpendicular to my chest. My 1 rep max on this right now is about 225 pounds, and I can do about 10 reps at 150 pounds. Funny story, I almost launched myself out of this machine once when I applied force at a seriously wrong angle. I can currently do about 300 pounds on the squat machine. It hurts like fuck but I've managed not to injure myself yet. I've gotten up to about 215 pounds on this machine where I pull down a bar using my legs. My 1 rep max on this machine where I sit in a seat with a chest rest titled forward and pull up two handles perpendicular to my chest is about 205 pounds. So yeah, I'm nowhere near as strong as I want to be yet but I've been making progress. Only started lifting regularly less than a year ago. For example, on the 2nd machine I described on which I currently have a 225 pound 1 rep max and can do about 10 reps at 150 pounds, I could barely do 1 rep at 130 pounds without pissing myself when I first started out.

I usually wake up at around 6:30 every morning for school. Whenever I have a break (even weekends) I sleep in as much as I can. I absolutely hate getting up early.

Have you ever had a crush on a fictional character?
SCS replied to J.R.'s topic in General Discussion
Yeah. I used to have a massive crush on Hermione and Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter when I was around 14. I still kinda do I also had a crush on Haruhi Suzumiya from The Melancholia of Haruhi Suzumiya when I was like 12. I also couldn't help having a crush on Carrie as depicted by Chloe Grace Moretz before she went apeshit and killed everyone with her mind powers.
