How do you tell the difference between each wave? I thought they were all kind of the same. I did notice that what Walmart carries is different than what Target carries. Is there a list? -

That idea about painting Fluttershy is amazing!! What kind of paint did you use? Are you going to do the same thing with the Design-a-pony Rainbow Dash? -
Just out of curiosity..are any of you guys (or anyone in the forum, fir that matter), close to the Atlanta area? I'm looking for a mlp cosplay group...and possibly an area meet-up. -
The reasons you posted here apply to me. As much as I'd love to have nothing to do all day but sit around and be on the mlpforum.com all day long (and others), I have to juggle a full time job which also pulls into overtime almost every week, being a single parent, and volunteer work at my place of employment (i work at a cancer facility). While I may have the forum up in my browser to skim through whenever I have a milisecond for downtime, I don't always get to reply. As far as hiding the fact of being a brony, it's easier to pass unnoticed when you have a young daughter. Most people in the stores or who see me looking at MLP merch online simply assume I'm doing so for my daughter and don't ask questions. My friends are fully aware, though, and don't think it's any stranger than my LOTR obsession...so there you go.

Sea Ponies ROCKED!!! I had so many of those, but I kept losing the shells they came in. I was looking at pictures of all the G1 toys, and it brought back SO many memories. The packaging for those toys was so tacky and bulky. I know i still have all my G1 toys somewhere, but they're boxed up with everything else. I keep saying I'm going to go find them for my daughter, but she's very rough with her toys that it almost scares me to give anything G1 to her. I liked G1 a lot, but I never saw G2, and only barely watched G3, because of my daughter. I'm not a big fan of G3...the animation style and the personalities of the ponies grated on my nerves. The first time I saw G4, it was like a HUGE breath of fresh air!

Where do I sign up????? I'm so down for this!! G1, looking back, was pretty awesome. The color combinations of the ponies were straight up awesomely horrid. Only something the early to mid 80's could have produced.

Okay, forgive my ignorance. I"ve only recently started collecting, and even then I have to share with my 4 year old, lol. I've seen the images of the SDCC Derpy figure floating around in several collection pictures...can someone explain what the SDCC figure is, and where I could get one? The vinyl one I know you can get at Hot Topic (it's bigger than I originally thought it would be). I have a TON of G1 toys that were mine when I was my daughter's age, but they're in boxes in the attic. I need to go through them. My daughter has a ton of G3 brushables and we're working on collecting all of the G4 brushables. I'm really looking for the Fashion Style ponies; all I have are Celestia and Luna. Any suggestions? Also, Toys R Us had/has a pony pack that featured Nightmare Moon with a few other ponies, but it was, like, $45. Does anyone know if Nightmare Moon is available by herself yet? It's a beautiful pony, shaped like the Celestia brushable.

Thank you both. I had seen the MLP stuff at Hot Topic a while back, but was unable to go in to buy as anything. I'll definitely have to go take a look now. About how big is the vinyl character? Does she have her signature wall-eyes?

I'm still working out the details. I want to stick with Princess Luna mostly, but throw in bits of Nightmare Moon with the NLR propaganda somehow. If you have any suggestions or ideas, feel free to share, lol!

Derpy needs to be a permanent character in the game, instead of fleeting visits and hiding in a box.

I must confess, today was the first I'd heard of it. And I haven't really researched it. I will now, though. What are your thoughts? War Wolf...I looked it up, and I find the concept very interesting and entertaining. I also think the idea would be a good incorporation for anyone cosplaying Luna, as I am in the process of doing.

Well, I'm a bit new here. Just signed up today after lurking around for a bit. I grew up watching G1, and my daughter started out on G3 (I know, the horror). We both love FIM :-) my favorites are Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Princess Luna and of course...DERPY! I am looking forward to getting to know everyone and learning even more about all thinks Equestria!
