  1. Here goes. I dropped a sizeable rock on my younger brother's head when he was only 6 years old. I wet the bed all the friggin' time until I was about 10 or 11. ... I also shat the bed once, which I didn't think was even possible. I used to have a massive early-teen crush on Krystal from Starfox, and I fantasized about her all the time. I once hid in a closet for hours at a young just to freak out my family - it worked pretty well. I don't classify myself as bi-sexual, but I've always wanted to do stuff with guys I'm pretty sure I starved my hamster to death, and upon finding her dead, I cried. A lot. I absolutely despise most of the people I've met since moving here, yet I stayed friends with some of them for over 5 years. I over-sleep on days when I can just to escape reality and remain unconscious. I own a fleshlight (I haaaaaate admitting this for some reason. Owning boy toys is just not cool in society's eyes, I guess. Meh. ) I want only the best for my close friends, but I get jealous of their successes easily. I don't know who I am. I don't know what I am. I don't know what the f*ck I'm doing.
  2. Allow because it's DERPY! Duh. I'd probably get muffins from her afterwards, too - only I'd have to make sure she washed her hands first
  3. Duuuuude. That's badass. You should feel privileged - I'm sure that makes a good conversation catalyst. Most people get stung by bees or scorpions - but you? No big deal, just got slashed up by a friggin' KANGAROO. Niiiiice. Me? I smashed my nose pretty bad as a kid. I was pretty much running around in the basement, tripped, and *wham*! Right on the concrete, from a 90 degree angle to a 0 in what seemed like less than a second. Like Sugar Sprinkles said, the blood flowed like a fountain, like Niagra friggin' falls, man. I was somehow able to play it down as a kid and keep my cool, but I doubt I'd be able to pull that off today. It was a lot of blood, and all I remember is calmly walking upstairs, blood trailing behind me as I went. My nose was like a leaky faucet, it was pretty gross. This other time - and this hurt way more - was when my Mom opened the fridge door and it hit me right in the mouth. I was chewing red peppers at the time, and I instinctively spit out everything in my mouth once the blood started pouring out. Suffice to say, I haven't liked red peppers for a very long time. I can't remember which time was worse though in terms of blood spilled... it was all so long ago.
  4. I'm a sucker for all things Rarity, so Becoming Popular still remains my favorite. There are so many other songs that have come so close to dethroning it, though - Babs Seed, BBBFF, Love is in Bloom (HHNGH)... But ultimately it still wins. Why? Because Rarity.
  5. Does Bawls count? It tastes like a fruity Sprite - a lot smoother and less acidic. Super hard to find around here, but I savor these things when I get the chance. SO GOOD, MAN.
  6. Whoa, of all the people to respond! I had no idea you were on these forums, let alone a moderator. I recognized your username from DeviantArt because I must have been looking at your stuff before (it's all fantastic, btw). I think your name ended up sticking though because it's "Vexx" and Vexx is one of my favorite games ever - regardless of whether that was intentional or not on your part. I've added you on Steam. I'll be playing tonight most likely, so if you're on I'll give you a heads-up. I still can't believe this. OF ALL THE PEOPLE!
  7. Yeah, that's the other thing - it didn't bother me, but it didn't amuse me either, which is atypical of Cracked. Maybe it's because I know of all this stuff already and they're trying to play it off like it's horrifyingly vile, when in actuality there's way worse things to be found on the internet. I mean, really - it's like the article is written by someone who just discovered the internet. There's worse. Oh, way, waaaay worse >:]
  8. I haven't played it in a good while and I'd love to jump in with a few of you guys tonight. Nothing serious, just for fun! I'm not expecting many replies here since most people play CoD on console primarily, but I would be interested in getting a few usernames down regardless so we can get a group session goin' sometime. I played this game for the first time in months last night and I always get totally pooped on whenever I'm playing team games solo - but I'm sure playing with some of you might even the odds a little, plus it'd be fun! So, interested? Drop me your Steam username here and hopefully we can get a sizeable group together, even if it's only a few people. EDIT: Here's mine. Derp. -Equity
  9. Man, I love where this is going! Exciting stuff I've met one brony on my campus, and another who I had met before at a meet-up. Both were wearing pony swag and were easy to spot. So if you're trying to attract fellow bronies in a somewhat subtle fashion, wearing or sporting pony merch definitely works best. I like what you've accomplished here with your own little accidental method, however :3
  10. Nah. I've done it a few times by now so it I'm more interested in seeing what the cashier's reaction is, usually, rather than trying to stay cool or something. If you go to the right place - WalMart for example - you might not even get a reaction. I swear, they like, specifically train their employees to not ask questions. Probably not a bad thing considering the kinds of people that come through WalMart on a daily basis and the weird sh*t they buy, but yeah.
  11. I've been really into Metal Gear Solid lately (about to start the fourth after beating the third), so I'd probably go with that. I'm a sucker for excellent storytelling, and Metal Gear delivers some of the most creatively complex and deepest narratives I've ever seen in video games. I don't even like the gameplay that much - I mean, sneaking around and stuff is fun, sure. But the story, man. Oh the story. Don't leave this planet until you've played Metal Gear Solid. Please. Just play it. You owe it to yourself. It's somewhat of a forgotten gem these days, but oh man is it good. I finished it in two days during the summer just because I couldn't stop thinking about it - that good.
  12. Man, I wish I had more people to play Gears with. I absolutely love it, but I always end up ditching mutliplayer titles after a few weeks if it's just me playing. They're just not the same without friends. If you guys want to set up a game here though, I'm all in. I'd love to join, Gears is seriously like, my favorite competitive shooter out there. I know I have one of those Xbox gold trial codes lying around somewhere...
  13. I thought the article was relatively harmless. I mean, c'mon. This is Cracked we're talking about here. They're like South Park - they make fun of everything.
  14. Ha, I'm kind of the same way. I don't really get the whole "checking out girls" thing and in fact, whenever my friends would point out girls in high school I'd just be like, "okay, I get it," y'know? I just didn't really do that kind of stuff. One friend jokingly assumed I was gay because of it. I dunno, I've just never seen people like that. I'm honestly more interested in what a person has to say, and what they're like. Good looks are just the icing on the cake, really
  15. Thanks! I'm already liking the general enthusiastic feel of this place. I especially like the character-minimum rule for posts - that was one of my problems with other forums. You get people who just post things like "k" and "cool" and it gets really tiring. Also, there's no post count to be seen when I'm viewing a thread or post - that's awesome! Keeps the e-peeners at bay, y'know. Great little innovation, there. I'm gonna call it a night, though. I'll be back for more tomorrow!
  16. I was trying really hard to keep it together at the end - really, really hard - but when Lauren Faust got up at the panel I just lost it. Tears came streamin' down. It's a really solid production. I was initially put off a little by how much focus was placed on the socially awkward fans (it's a little hard to watch at times), but ultimately the message was a wholly positive one - how this show has changed lives and brought people together. After I realized that, the focus on certain people hardly bothered me. I felt like this realization really came full-circle towards the end of the film. I got home today and burnt a DVD copy so I can lend it out to people whenever they're curious. It's a damn fine explanation, and overall, I'm really impressed.
  17. Yeah, it was one of those classics I just stumbled upon in arcade-machine-form as a kid, alongside games like TMNT: Turtles in Time and Metal Slug. I did a really crappy Let's Play of it a while back, actually. Fun times. I'm equally surprised to hear of someone else on here knowing about it!
  18. FIGHT THE POWAAAAA Would you rather eat moldy cheese or moldy bread?
  19. Lookin' good! I was surprised to see Sunset Riders in there - it's one of my favorite shoot 'em ups, but also a rather obscure game at that.
  20. I'm holding out for the stunning, bold rendition of the overpowering beauty that is Rarity, myself. But it's great to see them expanding the line.
  21. I've been really into music lately - currently I'm going through every song in my rather humble-sized library and tagging them all with appropriate moods with this Moody application I discovered. Feel free to send recommendations my way as you see fit - one can never have enough music! Because of the new iTunes album view, I can only show so much - but here's a good chunk of it.
  22. I don't even know, man. Probably the most accurate way of putting it is straight with a playful, bi-curious side when the mood strikes :3
  23. Thanks guys I'm majoring in Communications, with some electives on the side (Anthropology, English Lit, and Sociology). I entered the program because I thought it would be fitting for someone like myself who's really into writing both creatively and analytically, but so far I've done little of either. It's kinda bumming me out, actually. I feel like I'm in the wrong place a lot of the time - but there more writing-focused programs mixed in there that I just haven't taken yet, so maybe I'm just trudging through the less exciting stuff at the moment.
  24. During a family car trip to the US, I bought a set of pony figurines at Toys R' Us, alongside a Gears of War figure, ironically. When I got back to the car and started opening up the ponies, my brothers got all quiet and confused. "Wait... did you like, get those for free?" one said. "...No, I bought .em." If things had been quiet before, it was incomparable to the kind of silence that followed after saying that. But I managed to get out a brief explanation about the show and what made it good, and I think they understood a little better. After all, my liking of cartoons intended for entirely younger age groups was hardly a new thing (see: ninja turtles) - so that made the initial shock a little easier to manage. Since then, I've bought pony toys, posters, clothing, DVDs - it's a pretty standard interest of mine now. Occasionally my friends and family bring it up inquisitively, but at this point it's nothing new. Yesterday my Dad was mentioning how he totally gets my fascination with the show, given the charm and character designs. I did however, cringe a little when he referred to it as my "pony fetish." Jeez, thanks Dad :\ Still, I was never like, OH GOD, NO ONE MUST KNOW ABOUT PONIES. Nah. In fact, if anything, I've openly embraced my love for it. That's just always how I've been about stuff I like, I guess.
  25. Hi, I'm Stefan - but I go by my alias of "Equity" whenever ponies are concerned. I recently watched the newly-released Brony Documentary, and it really brought back a lot of the original, overwhelmingly positive feelings I got from first discovering this fandom. I've been looking for a good community to really sink my teeth into again, and I've also been feeling kind of lonely since this year's college term. So, I decided to hop online and see what awaited me. Hopefully I'll enjoy myself here, and I look forward to interacting with you all! -Equity
