    I think pretty much all genres and categorizations are necessary except for stuff like Crack House. Other than that, I haven't heard a single unnecessary sub-genre

    I personally believe that Bohemian Rhapsody is a godawful song and I hate it with a passion I also dislike Stairway to Heaven, but it's not nearly as bad as Bohemian Rhapsody. Speaking of that song, I dislike Queens in general as well

    The word overrated means that a artist or band have more popularity than they deserve. If they are popular of any other reason their musical talent, they are overrated and there's no denying this. because they have more popularity than they deserve (there might be exceptions) And if someone is considered overrated, that means that they don't deserve their popularity because their musical talent isn't as good as people make it out to be, thus describing their actual music

    What on earth are you talking about? I said that people shouldn't judge a bands quality based on how innovative they are. If that's the case, all you need to do is get drunk, play something completely random and soulless, create a new sound and be praised as one of the best bands of all time. Also, check that post I did once more. Where did I say that The Beatles were bad?
