      Much as I love him, I don't think much could have saved that movie. Although I am perplexed why most versions of that tale restrict it only to Lilliput and Brobdingnag and not expand on to Laputa or the Houyhnhnms. I mean I would kill to see a big scale, Hollywood production version of the entire mythos.

      Honestly I barely know how to pronounce the Houyhnhnms. I mostly just go with another live action adaptation that I highly recommend. One of those late nineties, early 2000's mini-series that was far more loyal to source material as well as injecting a surprising post modern element of questioning Gulliver's sanity. In the book, no one believes Guillver's tales when he comes back but he's more dismissed with a chuckle, and as the POV character, we KNOW what he went through was...
