      Maybe it is because: recently, big part of the female subjects (girls), is more interested in facebook-like stuff, and this could explain why more male fans; and also it a show that we can call ''pure'', because it is about friendship, and this show probably explains better the meaning of friendship, and it also has good graphics, and it is innocent.       Perhaps so. Another conclusion was that MLP was simply easy to process. See, the left side of the brain, and the right work in sync so well when it is being viewed. The vivid colours and characteristics of the show, not to mention Equestria itself helps the right side of the brain to function (because of fantasy), whereas the morale and teachings of the show work the left side of the brain.
