I had nothing but good things to say myself. I mean, not the best episode of the season, but I did love the message, both substance and in its execution.

I never really cared for EQD's opinions on episodes. Plus I feel that they have the tendency to overrate a lot of episodes, especially the commenters

Well I can see that; it's easy to jump onto a bandwagon and succumb to hyperbole and overexaggerating when you're in a comment section. That's why I like writing out full-length reviews. Much better collecting my thoughts on episodes than just posting little snippet-thoughts on them, at least for me it is.

If neither of the bullies showed up at any point and Scoots got flustered in some other way, then Scoot's quest would have more weight. Their appearance and how they caused the drama made the conflict artificial.

I'd say Pinkie and the CMC have been Best Ponies this season (like how Rarity was in the first two and Dash was in S3). Pinkie stars in the two best episodes and the CMC, regardless of episode quality, have had some strong development.

I'm not really looking forward to it myself. The Flim Flam Bros are some of my least favorite characters in the show, and they're most likely gonna get another song, and if they do sing I'm turning off the livestream(or really just muting it)

Gummi Bears is closer to MLP, which is surprising, given the Faust connection. It's also an aesthetically "girly" show that puts a surprising emphasis on character an fantasy worldbuilding.
