  1. "It's hot in Topeka. Iiiiits hot. In Topeka. I'm hot, my toe is hot, so pick it. Pick my toe is hot! I'm a hot toepickeeerr." - Bloo from Foster's "At least the bunnies are on fire." - Mac from Foster's "MY LEG!" - That one guy from Spongebob "Happy Leif Erikson day! HIngen-dingen-durgen." - Spongebob
  2. As much as I loved all of these shows, Camp Lazlo, Ed, Edd, 'n' Eddy, Dexter's Labratory, etc. My all time, favorite cartoon series is Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends. IT's one of the few shows that I've seen every single episode of, the show's characters had dimension, the writing was clean and intelligent, while remaining slapstick and goofy, and it was so original. I miss this show, and I hope they one day bring it back.

  4. "Uhh...." Phil kind of stares at Twister, then regains his composure. "If you're that fast, I can imagine it being a fast-forward life." Now looking towards Goldkeep, "So Goldkeep, ready to show us where we're going?" He steps out into the doorway, "Oh, I don't think I introduced myself, the name's Phil Noir, private eye. " Phil looks out and sees the metal robot speeding away. "And what's the deal with that metal mare thing?"
  5. Well done. It's really well done. I like the background, Applejack is accurate for an 8bit drawing, and it's fun. Props to you. You should do more.
  6. Uhh...... I'm hating to diverge this thread of thought and sounding like a stuck-up nerd, but my nerdar went off and I can't help myself. The series is a trilogy in five parts. With a side story and a sixth book by the author of the Artemis s Fowl series. Now back onto the thread of thought. If you are interested in a fantasy series, I'd recommend the Dragonlance Chronicles. They are one of my favorite fantasy series of all time. I'd also recommend the Castle Perilous series. It's not quite Sci-Fi, not quite fantasy, not quite anything really. You should look it up.
  7. If Hasbro is smart, they should totally make a game like this. Animal Crossing gameplay would fit MLP perfectly. I would totally play a game like this if they ever made one.

Is this blunt enough for you? You did say you wanted a pony with a blunt, so I gave you a pony, that is blunt AND stoned. Happy? You really should be.
  9. @@Coffee Cream, @, "I know your names from these pictures." Phil holds up the photos of Goldseek and Twister. "I woke up last night in my office, taken to some void where I was hired by an invisible client, then taken back to my office where I found a suitcase, with these photos inside. All I know is that I'm supposed to find, and protect you guys." Phil looks at the note on the ground and picks it up. "An address eh?" He sees that Goldseek is heading out the door, with a note in hoof. "Hey bub, ya mind waiting for the rest of us? If I'm supposed to protect you guys, we should stick together. On top of that," The stallion waves the note, "I'm going to need some help getting to this place. I have no clue where anything is around here." (OOC: Sorry about the time skip. I thought that it would help explain why Phil showed up at Sugarcube Corner, rather than just having him randomly appear there. I highly, highly, doubt that I'll do another time jump.)
  10. Ponyville Train Station: 1:55 Phil steps off of the train and onto the platform. He pulls the photos from the dossier. "Alright, most of these ponies should be somewhere in this town. Better get started." He puts a red licorice stick into his mouth, throws his suit case onto his back, and starts trotting towards town. Ponyvile Market: 2:00 " "Listen, if yer that excited to buy some apples perhaps I can make ya a deal..." "Oh, n-no thank you!" The mare staggered backwards towards the center of the market. She looked around once more." Phil flips through the pictures and finds one that looks like the startled mare. "Twister eh? Hey lady are you-" By the time he looked up, she was gone. 'For Celestia's sake.' He walks up the mare selling apples. "'Scuse me miss, have you seen this pony? It's kinda important I talk with her." Applejack gives Phil an odd look. "Is she in some kind of trouble?" She gives him a look over. "Might ah ask why, yer lookin' for her in tha first place?" "Listen toots, as far as I can tell, she's ain't in any trouble. And for your second question, she's an acquaintance of mine." "Ah don't like bein called toots." "Sorry for my rudeness ma'am. A lack of sleep can put ponies on a bit of an edge. I'm sure a working mare like you would understand." "That ah do. Ah think she went thata way." Applejack points off towards Sugarcube Corner. "Thank you kindly." Phil tips his hat, and makes his way towards Sugarcube Corner. Sugarcube Corner: 2:05 Phil walks into Sugarcube Corner, places another licorice stick into his mouth like a farmer and a piece of hay, and starts to look around. "Let's see, I'm looking for a Twister." He spots Twister holding a piece of paper while trying to act sneaky, and trots over to her. "Hey lady, you're Twister right? If you're tryin to be inconspicuous, you're doin a terrible job." He examines the stallion with the scimitar. "Wait a minute," He pulls out Goldseek's photo. "You're Goldseek right?
  11. I started the series off with not liking her. I've never really liked her personality type in other characters from other stuff, and her voice just irritated me. But I grew to like her more and more as the series went along because they developed her character further, which is rare for cartoons. So where I started off not liking her, I now like her a lot more.
  12. A. Thanks! This will be the first time Pinoak's been drawn. B. At the clean comment, compared to a lot of pony artwork that people are offering free drawings of, you are very good and I can truly tell what it is. Keep going dude.
  13. Manehattan: 2:04 AM, in Phil Noir's Sepia's Services Phil blinks as soon as the mysterious voice stops, finding himself back in his office. "That, was bucking wierd." He looks down on at his desk and spots a medium sized, black pleather suitcase. briefcase. "What tha?" Phil opens the suit case. Inisde, there is a silver carbine, a manila folder with some paper edges sticking out of it, and a sack of bits. On top of the folder is a note. "You will need their help. Find them, and protect them. I will provide you more information when I can. PS: Don't worry about ammo." Phil picks up the gun and starts to examine it. On the handle of the gun, he spots his cutie mark on one side, and on the other, he spots his detective badge. He sets the gun aside and picks up the sack of bits, and looks inside, "There must be a couple a hundred bits in there...." He puts the sack beside his gun and opens the folder. Inside, there are pictures of several random ponies, with their names and locations. "Let's see, Rush, Goldspeak....." Phil mumbles bit, "Looks like most of these ponies live in Ponyville. Guess that's where I'm heading to next." Phil packs the suitcase, alongside his normal detective gear, and heads out the door. "Next stop, the train station."
  14. Hmmm..... would you be interested in doing something with my OC Pinoak Stringhoof? He can honestly fit in with just about any era he's put in. If you do draw Pinoak, let your imagination go wild with this one, have fun. My only requests would be that he'd be doing something related puppetry, and he's a bit taller and skinnier than normal ponies. The link to the OC is in my signature. Also, I also really like your style. It's clean, it's interesting, and it's well done. Keep up the good work.
  15. The doll is really well done. The seams are pretty well hidden, the form proportional, and the magnetic apple is a nice touch. Well done. Out of curiosity, is the face supposed to be smiling, or is it AJ's lying face. That's the one thing I don't quite get. And next project suggestions: Flim and Flam. I swear, those guys don't really get enough love.
  16. If you'd like, you can use my character, Pinoak Stringhoof. He can be anywhere, seeing that he's a traveling show pony. If you want some idea how he acts, here's a link to an RP that he's in. The Learning RP. Edit: Link is in my siggy. Just realized I never said where his profile is.
  17. My favorite game songs is "Simple and Clean" from Kingdom Hearts, and the main theme from Cave Story. Those are such great songs.
  18. The moment the new pony landed on the table, causing Pinoak to fall back onto the ground. "GAAAAAH!" He looks at the pony running away. "Why the buck did one jump on a table?" The unicorn shakes his head and reaches out with his magic to take a bite of his churro, only to find it laying in the dirt a few feet away. Pinoak hovers it up for a closer inspection, magics all the dust and grime off the churro, and takes a bite of it. "Looks like another one bites the dust." Pinoak glances at Gale with a mild look of embarrassment on his face. "Oh my, just realized my poor word choice. Sorry, I didn't realize another one's down." (OOC: *Time warp-y music plays. I fixed it!)
  19. "That's pretty interesting. I haven't heard of a soothsayer cutie mark in a long time." Pinoak takes a sip of his drink. "I know you saw Gale in the vision, but what else did you see? If the vision does give a general outline of the future, we should be prepared for what's coming." (OOC: Sorry about my lack of posting, once again, Skyrim and school projects have taken up my time. And I won't really post much more for the rest of the weekend. I'm going to a gaming con!)
  20. I'm a non-denominational Christian. However, I do believe that the other gods, deities, etc., do exist. I feel it's somewhat ignorant to say that they don't exist. There is so much about our universe and world we don't know about, so to say that only one specific god or pantheon exists and they are the only one/ones to exist is stupid. It's very much possible that they all exist, it's very much possible that they all don't exist. And of the things to believe in, God is my deity.
  21. "That'll be five bits." "Alrighty, here you go," Five bits float out of Pinoak's pocket onto the counter. "5 bits. Thank you very much!" Pinoak grasps the milkshake, churro, and apple-lemonade with his magic and joins Gale and Kismet. "I suppose it wouldn't hurt to talk a bit, hm? My name is Gale. Is there anything else you don't know about me? You seem to have a pretty good idea who I am already." "That is a good question. How did you know her so well? That's something -" The unicorn sets the milkshake in front of Kismet. "I'd like to know. Does it have to do with your short little nap?"
  22. "As long as they have some apple-lemonade, I'm fine with anything." Pinoak walks up to the mare behind the counter. "Excuse me miss I-" "Well hello there! What can I get for you?" "I'd like so-" "Apple pie? Candied oranges? Frito pie?" "I'm fine, but I'd really like some apple-lemona-" "Barrel of pickles? Cupcake? Cherry Chimichonga?" "Apple-lemonade for me an-" "Churro?" The mare holds a churro in his face. "Yes actually. As well as an apple-lemonade for me." Pinoak looks back towards the girls, "And y'all will be having? It's on me."
  23. Manehattan: 2:00 AM, in Phil Noir's Sepia's Services Phil Noir was sitting in his desk, laid back in his over sized, pleather chair, hind hooves propped up, and his fedora covering his face, asleep. "Zzzzzzzzzzzzz...... don't feed tha....." "Wake up" "Hm? Wha?" Phil wkaes with a start to see a glowing, smokey mist in front of him. "Look lady, I don't care if my sign says open at all times, ponies need to sleep sometime." He start to rub his eyes and sits in an upright position. "And please put that cigarette out. Stinks up the place." A puff of smoke hits him in the face, obscuring his vision. "What the hell-" 0:00 ??? "was that for ya dumb broad? By Celestia's Cupcakes why would you... you...." Phil looks up and about, seeing nothing but black. He slumps back in his chair, awestruck. "take me to.... Where am I?" "I am one who cares that your services are available at all times. You detective, are now on the case."
  24. Just made a marionette head able to talk. Without using a tutorial.

  25. Phil chokes on a fry, laughing hysterically. "Max, you are as smooth as sand paper." He looks at the stone around his neck. "So, in other words, we get ghosts, *snicker snicker* when you get some?" Now he's laughing even harder than before. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I couldn't help myself. But seriously though. That stone is actually pretty interesting. Does it allow you to actually talk with the ghost? Or just helps bring them about?"
