Alright alright, finally got the suit! I think it looks great but they messed up two things. 1) The neck/chest area above the yellow isn't black and 2) The back is all purple so I'm going to see if I can get some black and yellow spandex to fill it in. Here are two pictures with and without the mask (Not sure if I want to end up using the mask or not): So aside from fixing the errors, next on my list of things to do is: 1) Buy yaya han wings and ears (I can't decide between grey for canon or black for OC, any input?) 2) Get some black combat boots 3) Buy goggles, I'm having a hard time deciding on these as well. http://www.amazon.co...6371170&sr=8-55 - These are awesome because of how angular they are as in the show but I dont know if the grey will look good or if it will be easy to paint over if need be http://www.amazon.co...6372731&sr=8-59 - All black but not very sharp 4) If I end up using the mask Ill prob need a wig to go with it. 5) Eh, if anyone has some good and cheap suggestions for the man in spandex issue I'm all ears. Ive got some tight workout shorts but its not really enough. So that's where I'm at for now, any critique or input would be greatly appreciated. Getting this all pulled together for Equestria LA in November.

Thanks, I should have the suit in approx two weeks so I can show you how that turns out! Once I get it will be a lot easier to get the mane and tail pulled together. Just trying to visualise without it and its not working so well haha.

Hey everyone, I just started putting my first MLP costume together primarily for EQLA later this year. Taking inspiration from the photo of the cosplaying woman attached. The other attachment is of a sketch my friend made to convey the image to the suit maker. * Currently talking with a custom zentai suit maker for getting the body suit and mask right * Ordering grey Yaya Han wings and ears * Black tanker boots and gauntlet length gloves not fully covering the black portions of the suit. * Debating on http://www.dysfuncti...iker-p-628.html or http://www.ebay.com/...y-/250702090769 for goggles depending on how the suitmaker wants to handle the mask. I'm having difficulty figuring out how to go about handling the mane and tail. Trying to get a belt loop sewn on the back where a tail would go but I dont know a good place to buy one and I'm not sure what kind of hair I should go for. I think a mohawk would look best (Red or the classic blue mane) but I dont know the best way to handle that either. The mohawk itself would be great but all the wigs Ive seen have so much hair on the side im just not sure yet. Any recommendations/criticism would be greatly appreciated!
