Yeah, as much as I disagree with his policies, he's pretty much one of the main reasons UKIP went ahead. Comes off as more honest than the other ones politicians as well.
Get his reasons for wanting to stand down though.
A part of me sort of wishes that Nigel taken a break for the summer and come back in September (As he suggested, and he would have won a leadership contest in September for certain). I think having Suzanne Evans as leader for a short spell would have been great for shaking off all the '-isms' that are constantly thrown at UKIP by the media.
As someone who's been supporting UKIP quietly for a while now it's been really disheartening to be constantly called a rascist, a homophobe, (sort of ironic considering I'm bisexual) and all sorts of other things just because I support a right wing party. It's as if people think that the political spectrum isn't left-to-right, but good-to-evil. At least with the anti-conservative protests in London I have some stuff to fire back with now.

Looks like Farage is back in btw. UKIP refused to accept his resignation.
He should never have even resigned in the first place imo. The pace at which UKIP has established itself is astonishing, all under Nigel. The Purple surge is real.

Multiculturalism for the win, mate!
If Labour had won this post would have been illegal.
To the tolerance gulag with you! :^)

4 million votes.
1 seat.
There was literally nothing more UKIP could have done. First Past the Post is terrible and I hope the fact that so many UKIP (and green party too) voters were burned by it sparks debate for a change in the system. We can't keep it the way it is and still call ourselves a democratic country.
As for a conservative majority, I'm devastated by it. They've made themselves very clear they intend to push through the snooper's charter and I suspect many more policies designed to spy on the British people, and now they have no Lib Dems to stop them so they can pretty much turn the country into Airstrip One as they please. Although, the alternative would have been a Labour government which literally planned to ban Islamaphobia...
God damn, UKIP really were our only hope. Here's to hope they can continue to build on the support they've already gained.

Fedoras are pretty much the universal symbol of pretentiousness.

Got 12/13, pretty good. Never was any good at science, so this was kinda surprising for me.

Internet communists.
That is all.
EDIT: As an added note, I don't really think there are any fandoms (No, the Nazi party is not a fandom) that are worse than us. Just as bad, maybe, but not worse. I mean, we did produce this, which is utterly horrendous when you think about it.

Any Youtube lets-player that uses memes e.g. the majority of them.

If this means I can become a robot, then I'm all for it.

Thomas the Tank Engine was my childhood. I had boxes and boxes full of wooden track, the trains, VHS, everything. I loved Thomas the Tank Engine.
And those static faces. People complain about them, but they just made it iconic. It wouldn't be Thomas the Tank Engine without the soul piercing gazes.

If you want to cosplay, then do it. Yeah, for me £90 for a costume seems a little excessive, but in the grand scheme of things £90 really isn't that much.
If your mum isn't letting you get it then...I don't really know. I don't know the circumstances, so I cant really judge. I know my mum would ask me if I was sure a few too many times, but ultimately she wouldn't stop me if it was my money I was spending. Also, are you getting something the equivalent (money wise) to the stuff your brother and sister are getting for Christmas? Because a Cosplay is a lot cheaper than an Xbone and a TV, so I don't see how that would be a waste of her money.
Unless she's thinking about how much you can get out of it, which is kind of understandable, but not really justified.

2. Mind reading is the worse power ever. I've seen a comic where twilight finds a spell that lets her see what her friends are thinking. Lets just say she regrets what she sees. I have a few issues with my own thoughts, i don't need everypony else's >_<
Yeah, I'd hate to be able to read people's minds, the same way I'd hate it if someone else could read my mind. Ignorance is bliss. It'd be very easy to get the wrong impression of someone since people assume that their thoughts are private.

ACTUALLY: They were constructing a party. In the barn. They was construction in the barn for a party. She didn't actually lie-there was construction going on within the barn.
Yeah, but that's still being deceptive.

I vote Screwball. Because someone's got to.
You mean people judging by appearance ;_;
In seriousness though, does Derpy even have any personality in the actual show itself? Aside from bumping into things and becoming the MLP equivalent of Where's Wally?
-
lets see you do that with an gothic battlecrusier from 40k XD
Challenge accepted
(Don't expect anything now though, I'm tired and those things are complicated to draw )

It would depend on their personality, rather than whether they had a horn/wings or not.

An Imperial Star Destroyer of the Galactic Empire of love and tolerance in it's natural habitat: Space.
Just a quick ten minute sketch. May colour it later.

I'd rather be deaf than blind, no contest.
Sound is nice, but nothing compares to sight. I think I could deal with becoming deaf, but becoming blind? I'd honestly rather die, knowing all the thing's I'd never see again. Sight is definatley the primary sense in human beings.

Stephen Fry
He's just a brilliant, intelligent guy with a great set of morals. I really like how openly and defiantly he stands up for freedom of speech and sexual minorities. Not something you see often in mainstream "celebrities", who are often content to 'skirt' around sensitive issues.

No, this is the meaning of life:

Well firstly, I'd like to go to you-know-where.
Secondly, I'd really like to visit the Mushroom Kingdom. You'd have to be careful with what you eat there, though, since half the food gives you some kind of superpower.
Also, Theed city from Star Wars looks really nice.

I actually really liked it. Like, really really liked it. The only thing I didn't like was the whole tree of harmony thing. I thought they could have come up with a better explanation for the elements than 'We found them in a tree!'.

Meh. Even though the movie was a giant stain of soap scum, I'll have to admit that the human character models actually potrayed their characters pretty well. But then again, we have these to look at until they go stale:
-Shudder-
Jesus H Christ. They look like someone took a Bratz doll and dunked them in cheap paint. Not really the kind of look I'd have thought MLP would be going for.

I choose brains, it has gotten me far and hopefully farther.
Looks do matter to me, but I've never really cared too much about my looks.
When it comes to others, I have low standards. Looks don't matter to me at all, neither does the person's brain. All I care about is that the person is nice, I can be around mean people but they bring out the worst in me.. My worst is something I prefer hidden.
I think that maybe because I'm not really used to people being kind to me, so each time someone shows me kindness I value that a lot. So I don't care about brains or looks, I care about kindness. If that kindness is shown by someone who others would consider unattractive and/or stupid I can assure you that person would still be the perfect one in my eyes.
I agree with you on this one.
When I voted for brains, I kind of meant it in the sense that you do. I couldn't care less if someone was an A star student or a lawyer, In fact I find basing a relationship on that kind of thing calculating and creepy. I wouldn't even define it as attraction or love at all. When I voted for brains I meant someone who's smart in an emotional sense. Smart enough to know the difference between right and wrong. Smart enough to know when I'm down. Smart enough to have a decent conversation with. Smart enough to see deeper than skin level and to connect with emotionally. Smart enough to love me no matter what social group I belong to. Those kind of things.
Yes, that might not be smartness in the normal sense. But I'd say it's more closely connected to brains than looks are.

The UK goes to General Election!
in General Discussion
She's certainly has less energy than Farage, but then she's also a lot less polarizing. I'm not sure how good of a leader she'd be, but I don't think she'd be as good as Nigel. As a spokesperson she comes across as very capable though.
