    I didn't like Mario Sports Mix as I thought it was boring, too easy and I especially disliked how the unlockable characters were all Square Enix characters and all Mario characters were default characters.

    One of my least favourite episodes of season 1. I don't think it's a bad episode as there are some I consider worse but there were quite a few things I did not like about Stare Master. Starting with the positives, I liked Sweetie Belle's version of 'Hush now, Quiet now" and the cockarice was a nice addition to the dangers of the Everfree Forest. Now for what I didn't like. The plot didn't interest me that much and the CMCs yelling got slightly annoying after the first few times. The main flaw of the episode for me was shoehorning Twilight into the story. Granted, this was when she was the only one writing friendship reports to Celestia but she didn't really serve much of a purpose in this episode apart from writing about the lesson Fluttershy learned.

    Although this is not one of my favourite season 1 episodes, I still liked it. This episode had a two of my favourite comedy moments which were Fluttershy's yay scene and Pinkie tasting the rainbow. I also liked how it showed a different side of Rainbow Dash as the episode went on. Although Rarity is now my favourite of the mane six, this is one of the few instances where I disliked her actions. I liked that she volunteered to be the test subject for the wings spell to provide support for Rainbow Dash despite the possible risks but it was irritating that she eventually let the admiration of her wings get to her head. At least she learnt her lesson in the end.

    I joined in December 2012 when I decided to give the show a watch to see what all the hype was about. Initially, I didn't think it was anything amazing and I considered it to be an okay show until I got to Dragonshy and I became hooked.

    The slow pace was the flaw for me. I felt that the first half dragged on and nothing big seemed to happen until the Ursa Minor came into the picture.

    I think Gilda had potential to be one of the most interesting characters of the series but she was instead portrayed like the stereotypical bully we have seen in most kids shows. I really wanted an explanation about why she was so rude. Her dialogue also sounded very outdated since she was using insults like "dweeb."

    Applejack's stubbornness kind of bothered me as I thought it lasted way too long and some of the humour felt tacked on. Some of them I thought were funny but others not so much.

    The reasons the mane five wanted to go to the gala were pretty poor except Applejack whose reason seemed out of place compared to the others. I think fluttershy's was the poorest as her reason had nothing to do with the gala. All she wanted to see were the animals on the castle grounds. Other than that, I actually kind of liked the episode. It may not be a top favourite of mine but I enjoy it from time to time.

    The dialogue is pretty cliched and forced when I look at the pilot now. I think nightmare moon had the worst since most of her lines make me think of some of those cartoon villains from the 80s/early 90s.

    Vinyl scratch is not a big favourite of mine but this was very entertaining, particularly how she was seeing everything move to the beat of her music. Whenever I rewatch it, I get the music stuck in my head for a few days and I really feel like walking to the beat whenever I go out.

    This is definitely a personal favourite season 1 episode of mine. I enjoy the slapstick as it reminds me of the classic Looney Tunes and I always end up laughing at the part where Pinkie introduces Gummy. Also, gotta love that scene when Twilight charges at the hydra just because Rainbow Dash would do it. In terms of the moral, I agree that not being able to explain certain things doesn't make them false and we can choose whether or not we believe in something. I remember my confusion when I first read about the controversy surrounding this moral as I don't recall Twilight ever saying we have to believe.

    This episode probably has the best use of Rarity's generosity since she makes all those dresses for free and doesn't take a break. Whenever someone calls her selfish, I always point them to this episode. Unfortunately, I have very mixed opinions on this episode. It seemed selfish that the rest of the mane 6 did not notice or seem to care that they were pushing Rarity too hard. This is a nitpick but I hate that this episode gave birth to the 20% cooler meme. However, it was nice of the others to finish making the dress for Rarity and I strongly agree with the moral of not looking a gift horse in the mouth.

    A decent episode but not one I tend to rewatch. When Applejack claims Rainbow Dash "cheated" because of her wings, I personally wouldn't call it cheating, I would say she had an unfair advantage. I found that claim to be a bit hypocritical since she rode the rope from the hot air balloon to catch up with the other racers when she took a wrong turn. The highlight of the episode for me had to be the commentary from Pinkie and Spike and I hope to see more interactions between the two in future episodes and possibly a Pinkie/Spike episode.

    The first movie was decent. It had its flaws but it was still okay. However, I have a feeling that I may dislike Rainbow Rocks since I don't think I have ever enjoyed a "battle of the bands" plot. I will still watch it but I will be keeping my expectations very low so I won't be that disappointed if I hate/dislike it.

    The sonic fandom because some fans complain about the smallest things such as sonic's eye colour and when sega gives them what they ask for, they still complain. Not sure if this would count as one but fans of Princess Daisy because of how a majority of them flip out and throw random insults when you say you dislike/hate her or you prefer Peach. Some are also hypocrites as they cry "non-canon" if you use a spin-off game as a reason for a characters strength and yet they use Mario Party 3 as evidence that Daisy is stronger than Bowser. I don't think any fandom is necessarily the worst but it can be hard to see the positives in them when you experience so many of the negatives.

    Although I like the Cutie Mark Crusaders, I have never been very keen on this episode. I immediately disliked Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon as soon as they started picking on Apple Bloom for her lack of a cutie mark. I saw them as one-dimensional and "the bully" has always been one of my most despised cliches. The talents Apple Bloom goes through to find her mark, while I will admit I found some of them to be funny, I felt it got a little old quickly. However, the scene where Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo stick up for Apple Bloom is a personal favourite moment of mine.

    Not a top favourite episode of mine but I enjoy watching multiple times. I liked Twilight determination to not use any magic to help clean up winter even though magic would make it much easier. The song is definitely one of the catchiest from the show and was for a while, my favourite song. One thing I didn't like about this episode was Spike being unnecessarily mean to Twilight. I especially hated the scene when he was hiding the fact that he was the one who kept telling her to use magic. I also found Applejack unnecessarily cruel to Twilight when she yelled at her for using magic when she was just trying to help.

    The first M.A. Larson episode and definitely one of his best. I liked the different ideas the mane six came up with to get rid of the parasprites only for them to multiply even more. The highlights of this episode for me were definitely Twilight brief crazy side and Celestia's face when the parasprites were marching towards the everfree forest. Although Pinkie Pie is my favourite member of the mane six, I sided with the others when they thought she was a nuisance and she didn't bother explaining what she was doing. I know that if she did, the issue would have been resolved too quickly but its a situation that I think she should have taken more seriously. That was my only problem with this episode. Other than that, this is a definite top favourite episode of mine from season 1.

    I tend to have mixed opinions for this episode. The sarcastic comments Twilight makes in response to the others explaining why they fear Zecora is a personal favourite moment of mine. I also enjoyed Fluttershy's guy voice, especially the way she screams when the mane six think Apple Bloom is being cooked. It was interesting to give Apple Bloom a big part before the Crusaders formed but this was most likely a way of introducing her before that specific episode. Despite these Pros, this episode also contains a couple of my most hated moments of season 1. It felt out of character for Applejack to be the most vocal one scared of Zecora. I also couldn't stand the scene where she and Rainbow Dash broke into Zecora's hut and started labelling her the evil one when they were being just as bad as what they thought Zecora was.

    I usually find Pinkie Pie's antics hilarious although there are times where I think she can be too random and should be a little more serious in certain situations.

    One of my personal favourites of season 1. It has many of my favourite moments such as the epic pillow fight, the truth or dare game and Twilight's obliviousness to slumber parties. I also really like the lesson about how you can be friends with someone even if you don't share anything in common. I wonder how this episode would have looked if Spike never went to Canterlot on royal duties. I can only imagine his reaction to Rarity spending the night at the library.

    despite Fluttershy being low on my mane 6 list, I actually thought was a near-perfect episode. I can kind of relate to Fluttershy in this episode as I sometimes find it difficult to admit the truth to others. This episode also had plenty of my favourite moments including Pinkie's rubber chicken, Rarity's flirting to get some of the treasure and Rainbow Dash kicking the dragon. The only thing I didn't like about this episode was Rainbow Dash's negative attitude towards Fluttershy. Other than that, this is a personal favourite of mine and One of my most rewatched episodes.

    Whilst I found Boast Busters to be better than Griffon the Brush-Off, I didn't think it was that good of an episode. I like Trixie but I think that the scene where she is showing off her magic went on for a bit longer than necessary and I found her actions to a be a little bit on the jerk side. I didn't really become that interested until the Ursa Minor attack which I found to be too brief. I was confused as to why the townspeople were mad at Trixie when all she did was claim she had defeated an Ursa Major. I also think that Snips and Snails should have actually received a punishment for bringing the Ursa Minor to Ponyville instead of Twilight giving them moustaches.

    While Pinkie is my favourite of the mane 6, I have to admit that this episode does not get high marks from me. It's not an episode I hate but it has a couple of things I find weak. I found Gilda to be a pretty cliched antagonist and too cruel for my liking. If there was an explanation as to why she was such a jerk, I might have actually liked her. I didn't think Twilight writing the friendship report made much sense since she only looked at the situation from Pinkie and Rainbow's side and not Gilda's and the report seemed a bit biased since she did not know Gilda personally. If Gilda returns in a future episode, I would not be against it but I would not look forward to it either.

    I think this was a decent Applejack episode but I don't find it very rewatchable mainly due to Applejack's stubbornness. The moments where she refuses to accept Twilight's help initially put her pretty low on my favourite characters list. Another thing that kind of bothered me about this episode is that Twilight is the only one that notices something wrong with Applejack while the others seem completely oblivious. Despite these negatives, this episode does have some of my personal favourite moments of the entire series. I always get a laugh out of Twilight being unable to finish her speech, Applejack and Pinkie going "Whoooo" with their reflections in the trophy and Rainbow Dash being launched to the library.
