Serious Sam

Dukaan was currently resting atop a mountain just watching over the aura civilization. Nothing eventful was happening this day in particular, so he decided to see if his strength was anything like he though it was and to do that he needed a boulder...a very large boulder. He got up on all four of his clawed feet and wandered around the mountain top for a little over a minute and finally found a boulder he thought was large enough, easily 700 pounds and about as bit as five of his thousands of scales. He lugged the boulder up from the ground, causing his muscles to bulge to the half the size of the boulder itself, he positioned himself accordingly and with a heave-ho launched the boulder to a nearby mountain, to his surprise the boulder went an amazing distance, easily 1000 yards and heard it smash into the mountain side; and the sound resonated like an explosion in a mine but much more violent. "Well...I wouldn't be surprised an avalanche happened in 6 seconds."

Rut-Light was still in front of the gang member and prepared to release the strip, when the gang member did something that made Rut-Light crazed; he did a complete 180 into oncoming traffic. "Oh so this is how you want to play it? Lets do it right!" He steered his Barchetta into a 180 and followed the member of the gang, and he was pulling away quickly. Rut-Light weaved in-between traffic cars, dodging cars with ponies inside that thought he lost his mind, Rut-Light was nearing 153 mph and was closing in on the gang members car and as soon as he started pulling up to the side of the car it was perfect; the members car was right next to a solid, thick steel separator keeping the two sides of the street separate. Rut-Light knew this was his chance to take him down, he dodged a traffic car by turning left and then once clear made a hard right turn and, using the momentum from the turn, purposefully spun the rear of his Barchetta right into the side of the gangs car, instantly wreaking the foundation and causing the driver to loose control and crash into a stop sign. "My god that was risky as all heck." He then drove into the other street and went on to find the others.

115...120...128, these were all speeds at which Rut-Light had gone past, he was currently at 135 mph; of course he had one more gear left but that was for cop getaways. "Need some help there Nitro? Don't worry, Ferrari is coming to help." It took a little under 4 and a half second until he could see the gang member with Nitro Spark following close behind, "Time for some fun..." He got on his Bluetooth and contacted Nitro, "Alright, i'm going to try to spike trap this guy. Your going to need to get out of the way when I pull in front of him, don't want you getting hit by a car going out of control." Rut-Light pushed his Ferrari even further to the limit and soon he was roaring at 147 mph and the V12 under the hood screamed like it was in pain, he turned his car slightly and pulled up to the side of the gang members car. The Ferrari had the edge on the straights though, when he was far enough out he pulled straight in front of the car and pulled ahead a small amount then got back onto his Bluetooth and told Nitro, "Alright, releasing spike strip in 5 seconds."

Dukaan noticed Canter leave the balcony and decided it was time for him to go, with a beat of his powerful wings he lifted back high into the air and headed straight for well, anywhere really. "Well that conversation was short lived." he said as he flew from the city and headed to a mountain top, a nice place to rest and watch over New Aurastone.

(And how is that possible Star?) Once the coaches were loaded and the station master blew his whistle one again Rut-Light released the brake, set the reverser as far forward as it would go and throttled the regulator to 30%; as to not cause any wheel slippage. The train lurched forward even harder than last time, but eventually the locomotive started moving and Rut-Light sounded the whistle to announce his departure from the station.

(I'd be happy to provide you with a ride there Star.) Rut-Light stopped in place and said with slight panic in his voice, "That beer will have to wait sir. The next train to Ponyville was due twenty minutes ago, so sorry to leave like this but jobs come first in my book." He galloped off in full tilt towards a designated passenger train and immediately started prepping it for the trip. Steam Iron was disappointed to say the least, but he understood his worker well enough to know his reasoning; work before play. Rut-Light was now moving the train onto a turn-table and when it was positioned correctly he braked the train, as the table turned Rut-Light noticed the coaches he would be hauling in a while. Once the turntable stopped, Rut-Light once again backed the train into a siding and coupled to a pair of two passenger white and blue (mostly blue) coaches and once they were coupled together he threw the throttle forward to 30% and the locomotive replied by lurching forward slightly and heading towards the station platform. The ponies on the platform seemed to brighten up at the sight of the train as Rut-Light blew the train whistle; causing a sound that was simply put: beautiful in his ears, as the train slowed and came to a stop at the station platform the station master blew is neck whistle and yelled the two words he was famous for, "ALL ABOARD!"

The dragon noticed Frost take a step back and immediately furthered his distance to the pony a bit, Dukaan pondered the question for a moment and finally gave an answer, "Can't say I have...mainly because I've been living in seclusion from the other dragons. So what is it that you do in New Aurastone?"

Rut-Light could feel the intensity settling in and welcomed it, "And so the chase begins...drive hard guys." Rut-Light got the the front and immediately got into his Ferrari. As he started the car he roared the V12 to life; and it was ready to go fast and drive even harder. Rut-Light sped forward then skidded into a sharp 90 degree angle as he drove onto the dirt road, in a short amount of time he was off the dirt and on on tarmac as he adjusted his car and with a little wheel spin sped off at breakneck speeds towards Nitro, Thunder and the gang members.

Dukaan heard a voice coming from what he guessed was the castle of New Aurastone. He slowed his flight as to make sure the pony heard him, "I'm just passing through." Dukaans' voice boomed as he spoke to the pony on a balcony, despite what he said Dukaan hasn't had a conversation with anyone in a few days so he slowly swooped down and stopped when he was within the ponies range of not having to yell, the dragon would have to speak softer aswell. "However I do have time to talk. Names Dukaan, and yours would be?"

(This has gone from NFS to Mission Impossible) Rut-Light was staying as quiet as he could right now. To be honest he was conflicted, on one hoof he knew break-in's were wrong but on another hoof if they didn't do this then Detrot ran the risk of being conquered by these guys and every street racer in the city would be forced to move somewhere else and the law would change dramatically; out of these choices he chose the last of the two.

As Rut-Light got onto Nitro's back he began to wonder, what will they do once their inside; are they going to kill them? Finally on Nitro's back he gave him the 'good to go' sign and waited for nitro to initiate lift off. Of course Rut-Light was nervous but he had to screw on his courage and just do everything he could.

"Well then Nitro that just leaves you and me." Rut-Light was honestly nervous at the moment, he didn't know anything about this gang; but if they're going to do this he needs to stay calm. He may know nothing of this gang but he knew one thing: Knowing your enemy is only half the battle.

Dukaan was currently on top of a mountain that looked over New Aurastone, the mixed red and black dragon who had been alive for 3200 years spread his massive wings and lifted his scaly body into the air with a missive wave of dust and rocks flying off in every direction, flew towards the grand city. As Dukaan approached the city he wondered if any of the ponies freaked at the sight of dragons, many do but Dukaan wasn't planning on landing in the city as he was just passing over it; heading for god knows where.

Rut-Light parked his car in the shadow of a building and as he silenced his engine he turned off the motor to his Barchetta. He still had his Bluetooth headset on as he got out of his car, then he heard Frosts comment, "Simply walking in would imply the factor that we want to get shot. No doubt they have firearms but then again I could be wrong." He noticed Nitro speaking and waited till he was done and spoke, "Well that depends, how many pegasai are here with us right now?"

"Slowing down now." As Rut-Light got onto the dirt path he slowed down to a reasonable 27 mph, his engine wasn't as loud going at this speed and instead of it sounding like a monster it sounded like a purring cat. He looked behind him to make sure the others were following; so far he could just see Frost in his sexy looking Audi.

"Lets rock and roll!" Rut-Light started the ignition to his Barchetta and V12 roared into life, after revving the engine a few times he throttled the accelerator and launched off after Nitro and Thunder Dash. He activated his comm-link and asked a question he thought important, "So Nitro, do you have any idea how well equipped this gang is?"

Rut-Light slammed his hoof on his steering wheel and said over his Bluetooth communicator, "Are you serious? We need as much time as we can to do what we need to do before cops start to roam the streets and you want us to wait? For all we know they could send out patrols early and that would ruin this entire charade we planned out." Rut-Light wasn't known for being impatient but when it's something as important as this, he can get a little impatient.

Sadly we are just now closing it up, so to add in another character now would kinda be pointless; to me at least. I don't know what the owner of this RP would say so don't be saddened by my response and just wait for his reply.

'Time...you can't slow it down and you can't direct it off of its course. Leave it be; something good might happen.' Was the final quote of wisdom that Rut-Light had written before he was laid to rest at the age of 94, the oldest age ever recorded in his families history was 86. The quote had been framed in a silver plaque on an empty wall inside of the kingdoms library; where Rut-Light had spent his final years just lounging and reading books. His final resting place was never released to the public, for his body was nowhere to be found. (Cool! I might join that RP as a dragon, for I have a dragon OC so why not?)

Rut-Light was currently still talking to his boss; Steam Iron about well, take a look. "I understand that sir, I was just taking a chance so the mail would not be late and people wouldn't be all crazed and storming the P.O asking where the heck their mail is, as for the bridge I also understand that it was the only way to that part of the countryside." The reason Steam Iron wanted to see Rut-Light was originally for the sake of an update on how things are holding up, then Rut-Light had to mention the bridge collapsing and then everything kinda went to tartarus. "That bridge was more than a link to one station to another Mr.Light! It was the first wooden bridge to be built on the Baltimare Railway and served as a trading hub between Ponyville and Baltimare for over 23 years, and it's now fallen apart due to your actions...you just destroyed a piece of this Railways history!" To say that Steam Iron was mad would be a small understatement, but now it was Rut-Lights turn to talk; he simply jolted up from his seat and crashed his fore hooves on the desk of his boss, and friend as he said in a raised tone, "SIR! I have two statements for you right now! One: I have been down that route more times then I can count, so I am certain that there is NO alternate route to go around the bridge! Two: I understand what I did sir! But if you want to get pissed off at somepony else then blow off steam at the ponies who loaded 300+ pounds of mail onto the train, yes i'm the one that drove it but who put all the weight on? HUH!?" Rut-Light was fuming to the point where small hints of steam were being throttled out his nostrils, then he noticed how his boss was looking at him, something Steam Iron was not really known for; guilt. Rut-Light was now just shaken by the sight of his boss on the ground with the look as if somepony just accused him of treason, and now it was Mr.Lights turn to feel guilt. Rut-Light just stared at the sight in front of him and finally muttered, "S-sir, I-I didn't mean...sir?" There was no response from Steam Iron just a small sniffle and the faint drip of a tear on the cement flooring, Rut-Light proceeded cautiously forward and when he was close enough he was shocked; his boss was crying, just then Steam started to mumble random things, one phrase his boss whispered in particular stuck out in Mr.Lights mind though, "What is wrong with me?" to which he simply replied, "Hey, nothing's wrong with you. I'm sorry I blew up like that, I shouldn't have and instead remained calm. I know now that actions have consequences, but if you want to fire and replace me then I would understand why." He helped his boss from the guilt wrapped wreckage he had become and steadied him on his hooves, then Steam Iron spoke "I...I would never replace you with anyone buddy and you know that just as well as I do, I also understand that I blew up in one of my best workers faces and I apologize. However, I can never forgive myself for the accusations that I put against you; hence why I feel the way that I do. Remember friend; there are seven things one can feel and each one can literally destroy you, and that one that should be on the list is guilt. Now *proceeds to the door*...about that beer I owed ya." Steam Iron opened the door to his office and turned his head to his friend and worker, "I think it's time to give it to you. Besides, it's nearing lunch time; at least I think it is."

As soon as he was done filling up his tank with gas, Rut-Light jumped into the driver seat of his Ferrari 550 Barchetta, clipped on his Bluetooth headset and spoke into it. "Right-o, we only have a little more than 1 hour guys! If we want to do this correctly we're going to have to get in, do what we need to do and get out." He got off the Bluetooth and raised his voice as he asked, "Everyone ready?"

Rut-Light heard what Thunder Dash said and just nodded, but when he heard Nitro Spark finish speaking; he absolutely wanted to question him but he knew better than to question his superior. "Alright then, I'm guessing we leave right about now, or in a few minutes? Whatever you prefer is fine by me."

The locomotive carrying the 300+ pounds of letters and parcels has finally arrived at Baltimare station. Inside the cab, Rut-Light had applied the brakes and set the Regulator down to 0% as to make sure the train wouldn't have any forward momentum, he was still pretty shaken from his experience at the bridge but he came out a bit stronger than he used to be. As the train finally came to a stop at the station he pulled the rope that signaled the whistle and let the work-ponies be aware of the trains presence, after a couple seconds the ponies were unloading the mail like clockwork and in less than 20 minutes all the mail was ready to be collected by the mail-ponies and sent to the ones they belong to. When that was done he was given permission to drive the train into a siding where it would be refilled with water and given a wash down, "What about the coaches?" Rut-Light asked, the stationmaster replied "Leave them here, we'll have a yard shunter take them to their necessary place. Move along now, I hear Steam Iron wants to have a word with you."
