    I've had enough EQ for awhile. I'm done with people that hate on the show. The last thing I'm gonna say about it is that you should give it a chance. So what it's a spin-off about high-school, you guys are the ones watching ponies for little girls. Don't get me involved in anything EQ until it comes out.

      I'm not so sure it's the animation/sound that's being given the most grief, it's the premise and plot. People feel like EqG is deviating from the essence of MLP:FiM and selling out to Hasbro's demands to rival Monster High and Bratz etc.

      Fizzle said it perfectly. The plot is extremely generic with nothing to really twist it. If you want further proof, look at the trailer and see how much it gives away. The beginning, middle, and (possibly) ending are given away. When you cram that much info in a trailer, you tell the audience that the companies responsible for developing the flick have no faith in the project.
