The person would still be squished, regardless.

Example: Imagine his arm sticking straight out. As the two things closed, the arm would have less and less room, and he'd eventually poke himself in the back. If it continued closing, he'd be jabbing himself in the back. If it kept going, his arm would be forced to enter such a small amount of room, he would just get crushed as normally as any other object.

It can almost be viewed as an implosion.

So in other terms, he would be squished by himself?
