weird to think that you live on what once was the sea...hopefully the land is fertile and irrigation is easy. I live in the Great Plains of America, the most naturally fertile part of the whole country. There were a lot of forests here at one time, but they've all been cut down to make way for mega-farming.

Although, closer to the Mississippi River, it gets quite bluff-y (it's called Bluff Country), and it's very scenic to drive through. Although, don't swim in the Mississippi....chemicals abound

The area which was the Panonian Sea is the most fertile of Europe... Which is why our pro-western government is selling the land to Sheiks and western bankers :/ And sadly soon to Hungarians possibly.
