  1. Friend looks over at my phone in English "uhh why do you have a bunch of My Little Pony pictures." Insanely awkward silence.

  2. I don't think my parents know, and I certainly haven't gone out of my way to tell them. With that said, I don't hide it either. I have some pony wallpapers in my desktop slideshow (along with my other fandoms), I have a pony wallpaper on my phone, I have pony music on my iPod and I bought a Discord shirt, though to be fair the shirt is pretty obscure. I probably won't be sitting in the living room watching it on the flatscreen (this is due to my brother more than my parents), but I don't exactly hide it.
  3. Hmm... give Doctor Whooves a speaking role and have it be David Tennant. If only for one line. Like "allons-y" or something. Other than that, Neil Patrick Harris. I have nothing specific in mind for him, I just bucking love NPH.
  4. Yeah. Custom built is a lot cheaper, plus you have the say in what goes into your PC. Also when you build it, you'll have a much better understanding of how your computer works so if (when I should say) something goes wrong, it's likely you'll be able to figure out the problem and fix it without having to pay some computer repair person an obscene amount of money. Not only that, once your parts start to become outdated you can just upgrade. You won't have to go and buy a whole new PC every couple of years.
  5. Eh I'm really not a fan of Infinity Ward games, I much prefer Treyarch. I think the first Black Ops was the best CoD, though I'm in the minority with that belief. My brother will absolutely be buying this, like he does every year, so I'll be playing it regardless. Here's to hoping that it isn't the disaster MW3 was.
  6. I only really ever use it on here, and sometimes it just feels too cheesy to use honestly. I do drop references irl sometimes though. EDIT: I feel like my grammar is really horrid in this post, but seeing as I've been up for 26 hours now I'm really to tired to try and figure out where I bucked up.
  7. If anypony sees this and feels like playing Halo 4 or Black Ops II my gamertag is RWL Splinter. I'm bored and my friends are asleep :(

  8. Doctor Who is a horrible show to get emotionally invested in. I just watched 'The Angels Take Manhattan." Damn you Moffat.

  9. I've read far too many to have a favourite. I love Harry Potter (My older brother read the first two to me in first grade, I began independently reading them in second.) The Hobbit and LOTR (I read The Hobbit in second grade as well. LOTR I didn't read until middle school), A Song of Ice and Fire (specifically A Storm of Swords. At one point I literally through the book across the room and cried for a solid 15 minutes because I was so upset. That is when you know you've got some quality reading material. George R.R. Martin is nearly as adept as Joss Whedon at ripping my heart out and smashing it to pieces) and I am currently reading this: It is a terrifying and very confusing novel that requires your full attention to even come close to understanding what is going on. This one really messes with your head and is AMAZING, if you have the patience for it.
  10. I really need to stop responding to trolls, but intolerant people piss me off. I don't understand why they feel the need to tell people how they should live their lives. If someone's behaviour isn't hurting others, then why the buck does it matter? Let people live their lives please.

    1. Somebody

      Somebody

Welcome to the human race. Just offer them free food and they'll suddenly stop being trolls. :3

  11. Just got the email for the pony.fm beta. Time to go discover more awesome pony music! :)

  12. Five episodes to go until I'm done with Series 6 of Doctor Who. So far, this series isn't as bad as some people have made it out to be. I don't know why I get's so much hate.

  13. Gee Mom, you wonder why I've had a short temper recently? It musn't be because my brother is an asshole and you do nothing about it, or the fact that you force me to go to church despite the fact that I'm an atheist or maybe it's the fact that you NEVER LISTEN when I try to talk to you about anything. So yeah, I'm just so sorry that I have a short temper.

  14. I cannot wait. Rose and Ten. Oh my god. This will be incredible. http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m31wpx7LNM1qfigugo1_500.png

  15. Oh no! How did I forget this moment! When the Doctor asks the art director what he thinks about Van Gogh, that made me tear up a bit too. Not to mention, the music is absolutely brilliant! http://www.bbcamerica.com/doctor-who/videos/vincent-van-gogh-visits-the-museum/
  16. Yes I had planned on starting Fringe and Dollhouse next, Dollhouse mostly because it's Joss Whedon so I know it'll be amazing!
  17. Which one did you begin to watch? There were quite a few sci-fi shows on my list, so you'll have to be a bit more specific! I'm a huge sci-fi geek myself.
  18. Heh. I'm not going to put them in order, I don't think that I'd be able to do that. Well for starters, MLP:FiM, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Firefly (this is hands down my favorite show, that one I can say without any doubts.) Buffy the Vampire Slayer, 24, How I Met Your Mother, Psych, Being Human (UK), Scrubs, and lastly, but certainly not least, Jericho. Now shows that I think look interesting, I just need to finish my backlog (which consists of Buffy, Angel, Doctor Who and Being Human.) before starting them. Warehouse 13, The X-Files, Star Trek (classic and TNG), Battlestar Galactica, Once Upon a Time, Grimm, Dollhouse, Alphas, The Venture Bros., Breaking Bad, Supernatural and Fringe. Oh my god, so many shows to watch.
  19. Oh god. Joss Whedon has broken my heart so many times. Too bad Fox is restrictive as hay with their copyrights and it's impossible to find the clips of all the sad moments. 1. Tara's Death. This is the moment that made me cry the most. Even though I like Firefly and Serenity quite a bit more than Buffy, this scene made me far sadder than Wash's death in Serenity, which is saying a lot because that was bucking depressing. 2. As mentioned previously, Wash's death was quite upsetting, not to mention unexpected as well. 3. This one is not Whedon, but instead Doctor Who. I cried during this scene as well. Yeah, Rose and Ten, I ship it. This was heartbreaking. . 4. Finally, it should be known that I'm a huge fan of Sherlock and am an immense shipper of JohnLock. This scene made me teary, but none were shed. It's a pity that I couldn't find the whole scene but oh well. I'll put a typography below it for the full conversation. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4W4dHJ31Qyg Huh. Those are all the really sad scene that I could think of. I hope you enjoyed having your hearts torn out!
  20. In no particular order, because I'm lazy and don't want to think about it, Aviators, AcousticBrony+Mandopony, Feather, Ponyphonic, WoodenToaster.
  21. Yes, I know. It still bothers me. I really hope I won't be so narrow minded when I'm a part of the older generations.
  22. Same-sex marriage is currently only legal in nine out of our fifty states. Only nine. This is dumbfounding to me in this day and age. Most of the opposition for gay marriage comes from religious groups. This is fine, I think everyone is entitled to their personal religious beliefs. The problem arises when these religious beliefs interfere with our supposedly secular government. That asinine passage from the Bible should have nothing to do with the laws of our nation, yet that is the argument against gay marriage that I see most. There has been no legitimate legal reason that I have seen that could possible build a case for why gay marriage shouldn't be legal. Love is love, no matter your sexual orientation. I have seen gay relationships that fare far better than heterosexual relationships. The fact that we still are so ignorant, so blind to this blatant fact that homosexual marriage isn't legal angers me more than I can put into words. This GIF collection from "The West Wing" pretty accurately describes how I feel about the Leviticus argument. http://eatmydiction1.tumblr.com/post/46944360197/skinnyfitandsexy-forever-reblog Everypony should have the right to love whom they'd like to, and I look forward to the day when America finally realises this too.
  23. Ah. I'm the only Vermonter. That wasn't unexpected I suppose, still, makes me feel lonely. I'm finding it less and less likely that I'll meet a fellow brony until I go to college.
  24. I can take hate from the "keyboard warriors" of the internet, but when your "friends" shun you for your enjoyment of something as trivial as a TV show, it stings.

Just a term I've seen used and used for people who attack others on the internet. ie someone comments on your tumblr post "haha gay, I could kick your ass."
