  1. @, "Yes! Oh heavens yes!" Winterglade was nearly hysterical by now, but she still remembered to follow princess Luna to the door and waved a hoof. "Good bye, princess! And thank you!" Princess Luna had performed a pregnancy test on her, now that's something she just have to tell to her sister. She returned to Fender and sat in front of him, then raised an eyebrow inquisitively. "Bon Bon? Seriously? Why do you have to remember her?" She burst into laughter and fluttered her wings once. She was so happy that she felt like doing loops on the air right there, but doing so would knock down a lot of things. After a few seconds, she finally wheezed and calmed down. "And, uh, how do you feel? Still have the headache?" she asked, a bit worry slipped into her voice.
  2. 9 PM? Awrite then. I'll wait until things reached midnight before I post Starshiny taking the night train to Baltimare
  3. @, Winterglade hardly registered Fender's awakening, as she was too busy replaying in her mind what Luna had just said. There was a foal inside her, and it's about two weeks old. She just couldn't believe it, after all those attempts to coax Fender to work on her, she had been having a start of a new life in her all along. With a rising squeal her face slowly contorted into one huge grin. "I'm having a baby!" Winterglade quickly pulled Fender into a hug and spun on the floor. "We are having a foal! You will be a papa, and I'll be a mama! Oh Luna thank you so much thank you so much...!" She promptly kissed Fender right then and there.
  4. @, At first Winterglade was awash in relief, but it was cut short and quickly replaced with crippling embarrassment. Her face slowly turned a deep shade of red by the time she felt the massive bulk of the princess sitting next to her. "T-Thank you... And yes, we are planning to have foals of our own. We have tried, but I don't know if it's... working." She was understandably reluctant on giving out details of her personal life, even to a princess. At least now the nightmares were over... Fender was smiling serenely in his sleep. Winterglade smiled, nothing could rob her of this happiness seeing her husband in content. "Um, princess?" Winterglade called to the alicorn. "Sorry about asking this, I might be sound kind of silly here, but... Can you foresee the future? I... if possible, I would like to know if I can bear foals." She pursed her lips. She dearly hoped that she hadn't overstepped her boundaries by asking such a question, but she had been having doubts.
  5. @, Winterglade nodded weakly to the princess. If princess told her that she should be relaxed, then she would relax down. She took in a deep breath and let it out. She could feel her cheeks flushing from Luna's compliment on her love to Fender. She knew that she would gladly give up and do everything for Fender, but she never really thought it that away. "Um, yes... Thank you." Not knowing what to say, Winterglade simply slid closer to Fender and hugged him in his sleep. She hoped that her body warmth would be enough to ease Fender's dreams. Her mind swam in random thoughts. Princess Luna told her about the interaction with any sort of magic that could've caused this. Maybe it was Springsteps' ruby? She bit her lips. Now she was afraid that telling the princess about the ruby would gave Springsteps and her mother a world of trouble. She sighed and licked Fender's nose. "I love you," she whispered.
  6. @, Winterglade almost jolted from her position when princess Luna called for her. She stuttered for a moment, "Ah, yes, um- The name's Winterglade, your highness!" She quickly paused. At this moment Winterglade almost contemplated of planting her face repeatedly to the floor for embarrassing herself in front of a royalty. She bit her lips and nuzzled Fender, thankfully the stallion looked much calmer than before. "We just married two days ago... Princess? How could this happen to him? Was it because of he's the last surviving member of his family?" she asked to the alicorn, her voice was both hopeful and frightened.
  7. @, Winterglade was pretty much standing there, lower jaw nearly touching the floor, while the Princess of the Night explained the nature of her visit. The shades, the destroying, the mare from ages before, the painful healing procedures, everything nearly overloaded her psyche. "B-But Fender's only a pegasus..." she whimpered. When Fender approached her, saying that he would be fine, Winterglade could only open and close her mouth ineffectually, unable to form coherent sentences. What if Fender would came out different? Before she could voice her protests, though, Fender was already on the floor, under the effect of princess Luna's spell. She quickly dashed to the side of her husband and held his hoof. Winterglade nodded when princess Luna told her to keep talking to Fender. She looked back and forth between Fender and the princess, before finally lying down next to her husband. She rested her head on his shoulder. "Fender...? Can you hear me?" she whispered to his ear. "Don't be afraid, I know you're a strong pony. You have survived worse than merely some.. ancient magic thing. I know you can come back here to me in one piece." She gulped, fear of the worst had clouded her mind. Tentatively she kissed his cheek. "Please, don't leave me."
  8. @, Winterglade's smile grew sly and mischievous hearing Fender's suggestion. "You surely are one silly colt," she giggled and reached for Fender's hoof, dragging her into the bathroom along with her. She took a double look around the room for a sudden alicorn presence that might appear before slamming the door shut, locking it twice for good measure. "Turn around show me that sweet flank of yours." *** The bath time together was a relatively eventful one, what with Winterglade inadvertently knocked Fender over to a bathtub full of ice-cold water and all. With great efforts of both ponies they finally finished cleaning up after themselves, of course not before fifteen minutes delay of Winterglade urging Fender to rub her back twice. When they were done, Winterglade was quick to start picking up the bed sheet and replacing it with a new one, then prepared their breakfast. She still felt bad for the room service ponies, though. "I'll just give them a tip after this," Winterglade exclaimed as she trotted to the table carrying a large pot filled to the brim with thick yellowish substance. "Here you go, cream cheese stew! There were a bit too much cheese in the fridge, figured we should eat them while they're good."
  9. @, Winterglade rolled her eyes and sighed. She jabbed Fender's chest repeatedly and finally sat down on the bed, a large yawn overwhelmed her. "Ah... Fine. I'll just take some random food and see what would happen." Her snout wrinkled. Now that she was awake, the smell of the room was nearly unbelievable. It was even worse than the night they had after the wedding. Groggily she stepped down from the bed. "I think I'll take a bath now. Uh, did the princess said on what time she would be here?"
  10. Blitz Blaze nodded in satisfaction as one of the unicorns fell to the ground, and the other followed suit. He could make out some movements behind the fog, but he wasn't too bothered to make haphazard guesses. He instead focused back on the felled unicorns and started channeling more mana from his horn into a sphere of explosive magic in front of him. He took a deep breath as the spell slowly reached critical mass. "Eat fire, you insufferable heathens!" With a sudden charge from his horn, Blitz Blaze hurled the spell on a high arc to the bandit unicorns.
  11. The cacophony had stirred Blitz from his slumber. He didn't make any attempt to rush out of the carriage and join in the fight. He yawned once and dully noted that the Griffon and the snakepony had disappeared from their seats, and there was a smokescreen in front of the carriage. "Here we go," he murmured and channelled his magic to his horn and teleported himself onto the top of the carriage. He landed on the saddlebags with a thud. Blitz Blaze scanned the surroundings. Looked like a group of bandits had blocked the way with a caravan, and some had charged blindly through the smokescreen straight to... an unicorn and Violet. Blitz Blaze turned his attention to the bandit unicorns near the caravan. He couldn't get a clear line of sight even from his elevated position above the carriage, hitting them would be a hard gamble. @@Agent505, "Hrmph," Blitz grunted and ignited his magic, he put a dozen of explosive enchantments randomly around the bandits' caravan. Each appeared as a simple blue circle on the ground and pulsated with unstable energy. With a flick of his horn Blitz detonated all of the magical land mines. "That should keep them occupied for a while."
  12. Replace all chicken with Quetzalcoatlus For the record, they stand as tall as giraffes, 40 feet wingspan, and can easily gallop as fast as modern racing horses. You don't want to know how fast they can fly and how many humans they can carry in their hellish beaks
  13. Autumn Glow perched at the top of the restaurant. She couldn't hear nor see what's inside, but her receptors were more than enough to sense that Vincent and Raspberry were having a good conversation with each other. She smiled, the blossoming of a new relationship was always the best. Well, after a marriage ceremony of course. Curiously she crawled among the wall and peeked through a window. After a few moments of squinting she finally saw Vincent and Raspberry. The griffon was having a full meat meal. Autumn Glow winced, looks like the unicorn had a stronger stomach than her.

  15. They would also be the first to rain Earthshaker rounds into Equestria as soon as a Commissar says so Correction: they can handle xenos, intelligent or not, but they can't and won't accept any xenos that have any form of civilization. There are a lot of sidestories in codexes and BL books where the Imperium didn't take a second thought of bombing blossoming xeno worlds.
  16. @, For a moment Winterglade frowned deeply. There goes another try, she thought. Slowly she snaked upward until her face leveled to Fender's and raised an eyebrow. "But... What if my random urges told me to eat something you don't want?" she asked, snout inching closer to Fender, a mischievous look on her face. "Like, maybe, yourself?" She nudged Fender's mouth open with her snout and slowly bit into Fender's lower jaw, holding it open.
  17. @, Winterglade amicably pouted as Fender stopped the morning kiss routine. She giggled and nuzzled back though, at least Fender was still returning the affection. She had been worried that she had squeezed him dry. With a content sigh she rolled and snuggled herself close between Fender's hooves. "You shouldn't worry about that... I'm sure there will be something in the few first months. You have filled me enough," she giggled like a schoolfilly. Feeling the warmth and hearing the heartbeat of her husband always drove Winterglade giddy. "Anyway, what do you want for the breakfast. Don't tell me 'whatever you want', I want to eat what you want for a change." she huffed and rubbed her face on his chest fur.
  18. @, Winterglade was totally pink by the time Fender finished talking. The surprise kiss, the hug, the exclamation of love, and the expressed desire to raise foals, all that brought a smile to her face, albeit a shaky one. But the mention that Fender wished that her mother would be able to call herself a grandmother, that caused Winterglade to quiver on her hooves. "Thanks," she whispered and playfully bit Fender's ear. "You know, there is something I want to try now that we are alone." Her breath grew heavier, she softly tugged Fender to the bedroom. ... The sun rose above the horizon at a snail's pace. The sky over Vanhoover was relatively clear, considered what had happened yesterday on it's east side. Many ponies still could be seen toiling on the snow-covered eastern district, many hadn't had any sleep in the slightest. Tents of disaster relief could be seen dotting the white landscape. Other than that, the city had resumed its activities as it would in this accelerated Spring. In one of the many hotels that gleefully accepted the refugees, behind a locked door, Winterglade slowly stirred awake. She groggily sat on her haunches, wild strands of mane and tail sprawled all over the bed and her body. She yawned widely. The slightly sticky bed sheet served as a silent reminder on what she had done yesterday. She smiled when she saw her still sleeping husband. There was a large blackened spot on his underbelly, something that was partially her fault. With a giggle Winterglade slumped on Fender and kissed him square in the lips, playing with the inside of his mouth for a bit. "Wakey wakey, Skysong."
  19. Yoyo @@Sterling Crimson, Hearing Chemm's answer, Yoyo was nearly overwhelmed with joy. A manic grin appeared on her face. She wouldn't have to be alone! "Thank you!" she yelled as the pair entered the elevator. She then approached the receptionist table, looking a bit fearful. "So, how much do you charge for two weeks?" ... Yoyo hesitantly walked through the door the bellboy had led her to. After giving a small tip to the colt, she closed the door behind her. She sighed and scanned the room. The room was brutally spartan, there was not much other than the very basic stuffs one would expect from a hotel. A single bed, a drawer, a table, a plush chair, and... an inside bathroom? Yoyo trotted to inspect the bathroom and promptly gasped. The thing was easily as large as her own room back in Manehattan. In disbelief she looked back and forth between the bathroom and the actual bedroom, something was totally imbalanced here. With a giggle she took of her saddlebag and laid down most of her stuff, including the wooden music box, onto the table. This would be a fine vacation indeed. ... A few minutes of tinkering with her wallet later, Yoyo trotted out of her room and to the lobby. She sat on a chair there, waiting for Erlen and Chemm.
  20. Yoyo @@Sterling Crimson, Yoyo quickly followed the pair after taking care of her own bill. The food was surprisingly nice for its price. She trotted alongside Erlen and Chemm, taking in the gorgeous sights around her. She made a few 'whoa' sounds whenever something fancy came into view, which happened a lot. "Everything is so sparkly. Can't wait to see how everything looks like at night!" She giggled. Everything looked as beautiful as the pamphlets had boasted. For a brief moment Yoyo staggered in her steps, uncertainty in her eyes. Would Erlen and Chemm be okay with her tagging along for a long while? She had just met them. While the pair didn't seem like they saw her presence as a nuisance, she didn't really feel right tagging along day in and day out. What if Erlen had a bigger plan and he wanted a bit of privacy? She hastened her pace to catch up with Erlen and Chemm and cleared her throat, "Uh, guys? After the checking into the hotel, would you guys go straight to the museum or something else? Is it okay that I follow along? I don't really want to interfere in your plans, if there is any." She smiled uneasily.
  21. @, Winterglade's face was quick to react to the offer, the cheeks and snout quickly turned red as tomato. The mare herself just stood there, a blank look in her eyes. It took her a few seconds before she started stuttering, "A-Are you sure? We just had one an hour ago, aren't you tired? I-I don't want to push you..." Her voice slowly turned inaudible. Her eyes traced an invisible line around the room before finally settling on Fender, crossing somewhere between hopeful and uncertain. "Do you want to?"
  22. Autumn Glow slowly stirred from her slumber. Last night, after hours of flying around above the city that never sleep, she had been too tired to actually enter her house. She decided to just curl up there on the roof, and now she was cursing herself for not choosing the much softer bed in her room. Her joints cracked in unison as she stretched her back. "Ohhh... Gods! That was awful!" She winced. After a few more moments of spouting nonsense, she finally flew into her house and started preparing herself for the day. ... Lazily Autumn Glow drifted far above the streets, she was heading to the general direction of the cafe from yesterday. She was rather curious how the date between Raspberry and Vincent would turn out. She scratched her chin. It was a date, right? She shook her head. Nevermind, she would just drop on the roof of the place and see how it was. Nothing could go wrong from stalking a couple that might or might not be dating.
  23. Starshine jolted away from his seat the moment the train stopped. He was about to run for it before pausing mid-gallop. "Uh... Wait a minute. Why am I galloping?" he asked himself. He looked around and facehoofed, of course there won't be anypony chasing him for being a stowaway, he had actually bought the ticket for this particular ride. The colt laughed nervously as other passengers shoved their way past him out of the train. He followed suit. Shortly the colt found himself staring at the edge of the Everfree forest, the path leading to Ponyville behind him. He sighed and slowly made his way into the gnarly forest. "Home sweet home."
  24. Starshine is on the loose When the sun rises the next day, you can expect to the the colt again
