ooc [CLOSED FOR NOW] Casual Manehattan RP.
Starshine replied to Fender's topic in Everfree Planning, OOC & Discussion
@, You can thank Luminescence for that feature ...and now I just have to try to find where my mare can fit in -
"Good luck to you too, miss Sunny!" Starshine yelled back to the mare. Slowly but surely the train started leaving Baltimare, the whistle sounded like music to his ears. With a sigh Starshine slumped back to his seat. Not the best seat bits can buy, but it would do for now. The rest of the ride was spent in silence. @, (I have no idea! XD)

@, Wonder Shrine paused mid-chewing. She looked at Fender, and then to her daughter, who only shrugged and moved back to her own lunch. In truth she wanted to stay and hear what Luna had to say to Fender, but the pair had done so much to her she felt rather bad about it. She swallowed down the sweet bread and offered some to Fender. "We have... corn soup and some sweet bread. If you would like to try, we also have some dried nutmegs." "Nutmegs?" Winterglade peeked her head up from behind Fender. Her ears fell flat to her head. "Shouldn't nutmegs go into the food?" She scrunched her mouth. The only thing she knew from raw nutmeg was the ridiculously sharp taste. Wonder Shrine merely giggled and tossed a wrinkled nutmeg into her mouth. Winterglade grimaced. "Ew..." "You should try some!" Springsteps held a particularly big nutmeg to Winterglade. The white mare quickly backtrotted away, but Springsteps followed. Soon the two caught in a game of tag around the table and away from the dining area. "Never!" Wonder Shrine sighed. With a smile she motioned Fender to take a seat. "First thing first, I will have to apologize for the intrusion. When you are dreaming, Springsteps... caught a glance or two. The girl is a very strong receptor," she paused. Her face looked tired for a moment. "Tomorrow, princess Luna would be able to explain everything better than I could, but if you don't mind me asking... Did you see anything peculiar in the sky in your dream?"
-
@, (you might want to use the mention feature if you're talking to somepony) Starshine was a bit surprised by the sudden arrival of the mare. He reluctantly returned the greeting. "Hello to you too, I'm... Starshine, from Manehattan." The new mare introduced herself as Sunny Caramel, she also asked him to show her around. Starshine sighed. "I'm sorry, miss, but I'm on a tight schedule here. I need to go to Ponyville as soon as possible, I can't leave this place here, at least until the station had a lunch break," he explained. @, Just when he finished speaking, a train whistle screeched and the station master yelled the long-awaited words. Starshine cheered. "That's my train! Sorry miss, see you tomorrow!" With that the colt galloped to the train, took care of his ticket, and jumped aboard the train. "To the Ponyville, train conductor!" The package had been sitting in his saddlebag for a bit too long now, he had a zebra to meet.

That's... OP as buck XD -
Starshine was rather upset. He had been waiting for a train that would go to Ponyville for hours now, but so far the only train that arrived in the station would continue their route elsewhere. He had tried asking the station attendees, but they're as clueless as clams. With a sigh he slumped down on the bench. "I want to go home," the colt murmured. Just when he had the bits to buy a ticket legally, there was no train to speak of. There was another train grinding to a halt in from of him, for a moment his hopes were up, but they were soon dashed as the train was going to somewhere else. He grounded his teeth together and yelled, "Where the hay is the train to Ponyville!?"

@, The pleasant noise of water trickling from the shower head was momentarily accompanied with joyful laughter. Behind the closed door, the newlywed pair had their moments of bonding together, sharing each other in their love. Winterglade was happy to see Fender smiling so serenely under the sprinkling water. She would gladly gave up her own heart to see him smiling like that everyday. "I love you too, you silly colt." ... The bath was an unusually long one. When they're finished the sun was already skewing to the west. After struggling with the short hotel towels, Winterglade finally succeeded in her mission of drying herself and Fender up. Her tail looked like she was a half-porcupine. "Hahah... I will have to buy some real towels after this. Fender, how do you feel? Ready for that breakfast? Um... it's more like lunch right now" She rubbed the towel around Fender's neck for the last time.

You call this overmoderated? Pffft... I've seen a lot of forums with stricter rules and an army of iron-fisted, unfeeling mods that's patrolling 24/7 for any slip-ups, living in those sites would be like having the mods breathing on your neck in every posts. If you're saying this site is overmoderated then it is clear that you've been doing something wrong with your time in here.

@, Winterglade giggled abashedly hearing Fender's suggestion, her face reddened even more. She bopped his snout with a hoof. "Oh you, silly casanova. I think I like your idea." She jumped off the bed and walked to the small bathroom on the corner, swaying her hips while so. "Come and get it," she flicked her tail a bit to tease the stallion before disappearing into the bathroom.

Blitz Blaze barely reacted when the snakepony flashed her fangs, be it something done deliberately or not. His frown deepened when the she mentioned that bitting would be her job, not the griffon's. He sighed inwardly. Ended up surrounded by xenos in such a tight space, clearly the heavens were not smiling upon him that day. However despicable the current situation was, he knew that the nonponies would be very useful in the expedition. He would have to endure this for a bit longer. With a grunt he leaned back, crossed his forehooves in front of him, and closed his eyes for a nap. "Don't wake me up unless someone is on fire." -

@, this? Just highlight a part of someone's post you would like to mention, and click the mention tab thingy that appears mid-air. -
@, Winterglade nodded weakly. She took a deep breath and let it go slowly. It wouldn't do any good if she panicked in here. After a few moments of silence, she smiled. She pecked Fender's cheeks for a bit before speaking, "I bet you're hungry now. Come, Wonder Shrine brought us some sweet bread." She brushed Fender's mane aside to reveal his eyes. They looked tired, but none less beautiful than usual. "Or you want to take a bath first?" she offered with a grin. There was a muffled yelp followed with sounds of a mare trotting away from behind the bedroom's door. Winterglade tried to look nonchalant, but slowly she started blushing. Her grin faltered.

Right now there are Blitz, Violet, Captain, and Aquila in the carriage in the back. The front carriage is still kinda empty. The character minimum is already removed in here -
@, "Wha... What do you mean? Luna spoke to you? Why would she.. have to be here tomorrow?" Winterglade stammered. She was confused, why would the princess would be here tomorrow if not... She quickly shook her head to drive the terrible thought away. With a sigh she pressed her forehead close to Fender's own. "It's okay, Fender, we are in this together. I love you, I... need you. I will never leave your side," she nuzzled her husband. Never she felt being such an useless pony, being unable to truly do anything to help Fender. At the door, Wonder Shrine was peeking her head through along with her daughter. Both unicorns looked uncertain on whether they should join to console Fender or simply let Winterglade handle everything. Springsteps looked up at her mother, as if begging for her to do something. Wonder Shrine could only smiled apologetically. "This is not something I've ever heard about..."

@@Ano170, Blitz Blaze stared at the offered claw with barely veiled disgust. Who was this griffon and what kind of ideas were swirling in its mind? The snakepony and the batpony were still tolerable, but griffons are another thing entirely. The idea of sharing the ride with such a creature was revolting in its own right, but now it actually had enough death wish to offer a claw to him. With a grunt he made an apparition of a claw made of his magic and accepted the clawshake. "Blitz Blaze," he briefly introduced himself and dispersed the apparition away. Now he couldn't wait for Gallant just to start moving. The sooner, the better. -
@, Fender has been out for hours, or maybe just mere minutes, Winterglade couldn't really tell. Her tears were already dried out. She sat there beside the bed, longingly looking at the sleeping stallion, as if scared that his breath might stop when she stopped looking. Wonder Shrine and Springsteps had excused themselves to somewhere, she couldn't remember where they were going though. She sighed and laid her head on the bed, one forehoof touching Fender's. She felt terribly tired, maybe one quick nap wouldn't be so bad... ... Winterglade took in a sharp breath when a familiar warmth hugged her. She quickly returned the hug and pulled Fender close. What did just happened? "I... I love you too, you stupid colt!" she whimpered and rocked him back and forth in attempt to calm him down. Fender was crying into her coat, that filled Winterglade with more dread than before. "What happened, Fender? Did you have a nightmare," she asked.

Blitz Blaze raised an eyebrow seeing Gallant carrying all the saddlebags. Was the pegasus expecting the trip to take longer than a month? Blitz shrugged. If things gone to the worse, he had more than enough means to survive. He looked back and noted that most of the group had left the inn, that would mean it was indeed time to leave the Canterlot to the wilderness beyond. Without any word he climbed to the carriage on the back and made himself comfortable on one of the seat. -

@, Winterglade shrieked in sheer horror when she heard Fender falling down in the kitchen. Everypony in the dining room quickly galloped in. Winterglade was quick to lift the unconscious stallion away from the glass shards. "Wonder Shrine, help me!" In short order, Fender had lied down on the bed, blanket and wet towels on him. Springsteps had volunteered to clean up the broken glasses, while Wonder Shrine was standing next to Fender, looking for any signs of injury. Winterglade nervously paced around the room. "What happened to Fender? Until you told her about the ruby he was okay... Yesterday it was the avalanche, now this. Oh Celestia why is this happening?" Winterglade broke into a sobbing mess at the bottom of the bed. Wonder Shrine sighed. Physically Fender was okay, no bruises or anything that could've knocked him out. Magically, she couldn't tell what was wrong. She was afraid that scanning the stallion magically would bring another terrible effect. She walked around and patted Winterglade's shoulder. "I'm sorry, but there is nothing we can do other than waiting until he comes to his senses."

Blitz Blaze nodded along Gallant's explanation. He had been expecting the pegasus to not wanting to explain much of the mission. He had a general gist of what was the mission is all about, but he would rather not share what he know until Gallant himself do so. He snickered when Violet asked about the payment. When Gallant told the group to prepare themselves, Blitz quickly stood up. "I don't have any question. I'm here to serve Equestria's best interest, nothing more," he stated and dusted himself. "You all can call me Blitz Blaze. I hope we can work together until the mission is over." He then made his way around to the carriages. -
@, Unicorn, earth pony, pegasi. Wonder Shrine hummed between her teeth in deep thought. Fender couldn't be lying, but something just didn't exactly add up. "Rubies... their effects can simply be described with three words: Open, awake, and focus. Those are why Springsteps can communicate with me over great distances, even when most of her magic are still dormant." Wonder Shrine paused. Her horn dimly lit and she took a deep breath. She sighed. "I know not what's inside you, but it is now awake." Winterglade gulped. That latest word can't be good. She leaned closer to Fender and nuzzled him. "But... it's not something fatal, right?" she asked, a bit hopeful. "Maybe it will just be there and not doing anything?" Wonder Shrine bit her lips. She looked up at her daughter, who now had perched herself on top of her mother's head. They both shrugged and spoke in unison, "We have no idea."
