  1. A couple years back we used to have a weekly stream hosted by a staff member called Marco. Usually a bunch of staff would join a call, play games, make art and generally have a good time while allowing the community to hang with us. Honestly that's one of my favourite memories. Id love to see something like that return but we don't really have anyone who would be up to streaming regularly.

Still, even if we can't bring back the stream it would be nice to bring back some of the old events that never really made an appearance over the last year or two.

I have plans on adding a bunch of video game characters from my childhood to my left arm and then having cartoon characters on my right. I'll probably get other things on my neck and back afterwards, not sure yet.

  3. Ahhh, the new Ao No Exorcist season is so fucking good. I really hope they make it 2 cour so that we get another 12 episodes.

On that note, what are people watching atm? Currently Im keeping up to date with:

    Ao No Exorcist

    Yowamushi Pedal

    Tales of Zestiria  X

Resident Evil 7 comes out in a few weeks time and honestly Im really excited. I haven't really played any of the older Resident Evil games (I've played 4,5 and 6) so I never got to experience the scarier aspect of the world. However, Im definitely grabbing this game the day it launches and playing through the entire thing in one long sitting in the pitch black.

    Anyone else?

[side Note: Please remember to follow the rules, do not post any videos or images that show the gorier aspects of this game]

  5. Short answer: No

Long answer: Not quite. Rather the genre has plateaued due to the lack of significant improvements in the way MMORPGs are designed. The market has been flooded with so many MMORPGs that play out almost identically to each other. The only immediately noticeable differences lay in the lore and aesthetic design of each game. Because of this, most people who play MMORPGs hesitate to jump ship because of the time they've invested in their current MMO. Why start a new MMO if you're not really getting a game thats significantly better? So while there are still plenty of MMOs around, their player base is generally focused on a few specific titles.

So with all that said, it's not entirely out of question for the MMO genre to make  resurgence once a new title makes significant improvements on the usual design.

Lastly as a side note, do not think that the rise of MOBAs has anything to do with the lack of new RTS' and MMOs. The MOBA genre is significantly different to your base RTS and MMO. While it shares a few simple aspects, it doesn't exactly scratch the same itch that a good RTS or MMO does.
